Very easy to use these, you just break them apart and place them in the area you want. A neighbor moved out a few weeks ago and since then I noticed a few roaches in my kitchen. They are mostly in the cabinet attached to the wall I share with the next apartment. It doesn't kill them right away but I guess they take the poison back with them to their nest. It does help, however, i was disappointed in the effectiveness. It didn't attract as many roaches as I had hoped. And some crawled out and did not die right away. They are unobtrusive and easy to keep away from my pets by placing them inside cabinets etc. I have to be honest that I have apparently never read the full instructions on baits before. It says to use all 12 baits from the package at the same time. These are good for up to about 6 months in most cases. I really have only ever put out like 3 or 4 at once and kind of felt they were ineffective. With these Combat Max Roach Killing Baits, I have found that I see no roaches since placing the baits 5 days ago. This product had no odor and worked very very quickly. You are given an adequate number of traps and the gel can be applied at those spots that need extra or harder to reach nooks and crannies. 5 days and we appear to be pest free. There was no harm to our curious cats who actually led us to 2 nests. The pests were completely gone.
