Q: has anyone hung these on the actual shower wall with success? I am trying to hang towards the back of my shower wall (plastic encasement shower) to hang a baby tub to dry on.

I don't prefer to use command products I haven't had great luck with them. (I've had their hooks come off the wall and take a large chunk of paint with them, we used hooks for stockings and the hooks fell but the tape wouldn't come off) I wanted something for the back of a bathroom door without drilling a hook into it, this seemed to be the only product for that. The tape didn't stick to the door it was frustrating and a waste of money.

I bought 3 of these hooks for family use when showering. Each member of my family has a different colored loofah (sponge for body use) and when I put up the hooks, they fell and broke instantly. It was a waste of money!

Unfortunately, when product is used in the shower, the instructions are going to be different than the instructions for use outside the shower. This product comes with instructions for use outside the shower. Anytime you are wanting to use in the shower, please follow these instructions. Remove the hook from the base, applying pressure to the base, run shower immediately for a couple of minutes. Then wait 24 hours before putting the hook back onto the base. We use them for everything! They are great for our small house to utilize the wall space. We hang our preschool items (backpack and lunch bag). We also needed a lower hand towel hook in the bathroom for our little one to reach so this works perfectly because it won’t live at that level forever so we can easily remove it.

Almost as if the adhesive on the WALL SIDE wasn’t sticky enough. Would not stick to the wall, no matter how long I held to the wall. Every time I lifted the hook so I could do the 30-sec press, it just lifted the whole assembly would come off. The walls are eggshell paint.

This hook is much larger than I was expecting! Purchased to hang out baby’s bathtub in the shower so that it could dry between bath times. I personally like really hot showers and so far it has held up great! Our home is old so there is no ventilation in the bathroom which means it steams up very quickly. We have it attached to a textured bathroom tile in the shower.

I bought this to hang up my Munchkin baby bath tub and so far its working great. i take very hot daily showers hoping it can handle that. Also, if you shop in-store for this product it almost 8 dollars , i had them price match for me !
