Q: do this work for door mirrors to hang on the wall ?

A: I used these to hang a lightweight full length mirror on a flat wooden door. I attached two at the top corners but the swinging of the door loosened the clicking sides and eventually it fell off. The strips are strong enough for a light mirror but make sure you put them at all four corners!

Q: I purchased hangin mirror but tried use strips instead , but mirror recently fell off door while in other room used 10 strips ,what do you recommend I do mirror not broken need to figure out what should do now ?

Rips pieces of wall off every time

Definitely not damage free, all of these strips are awful. The tab breaks off from the bottom so you have to try to pry it off the wall without it. Every type of strip I’ve used has torn off the paint and the drywall paper under it. So many spots to patch.

Not sticky and the Velcro literally doesn’t hold any weight. I was able to peel it off the wall without even trying or pulling the tab. I stuck the entire package worth on the 3lbs item I was trying to hang and it fell right off the wall. Complete waste!

WARNING! DO NOT USE! Please, I know what you're thinking about the bad reviews. "They put them up wrong. I'll do it right." I thought the same thing. I read the directions carefully twice. I made sure the weight limit and size was well below the maximum load. I know my way around DIY household projects. My picture frame stayed up for 3 days and I thought it would be fine. Suddenly it fell off and landed corner first onto the floor about 5 feet from out 3 year old toddler! The frame and picture are trash now... I see review pictures of other people hanging up even bigger heavier things like mirrors, art projects, and giant collages. I know this is the cheaper and lazier method but it ends up costing your broken items. I will be sticking with a good old fashioned hammer and nails or drill and screws! I've never had issues that way and I regret buying these!

Used these for a 24x36 frame in my sons room because he likes to play basketball, and i didn't want him knocking the frame off. Had it up for a year now with no issues. We use command strips all over the house. I say reading the directions is key lol. Never had a problem with command strips.

They don’t hold. I used them on small light frames. Half of the failed. I am replacing lots of glass. While they don’t hold the light frames, they are strong enough to remove paint. The broken glass photo is a postcard in a very light frame.

Also bought heavy duty ones for my pictures and they also did not hold either. I followed instructions as to use them.

I really wish I could give a zero rating. These are the worst method to hang a frame. Effective paint remover! I went through each step meticulously. I even nearly doubled the time on every step. Still, all I did was remove paint and waste time. My money would’ve been better spent on a snowcone or a milkshake or a milk bone for my dog. That would’ve made us both much happier. I absolutely recommend any other method of hanging your frames.

I used these strips to hang laminated posters and when I took them off the move out of my apartment, it took the drywall off with them!! I will for sure owe a HUGE fine because they will need to replace that wall. Very disappointed. Oh, and the strip is still on the wall but I’m afraid to try and take it off now seeing what it has done to the other spots.
