Command Picture Ledge with 10 Mounting Strips

I have this companies products everywhere. The office, home... I've even had a few of the small ones and they work great. I decided to try the larger one, I had maybe 3.5/4 pounds max weight on it. In the morning it had fallen off the wall. Not a fan

Bought several times for my office and my son’s room. Easy to put up and remove!

Best thing ever invented for displaying toys. Easy to install and easy to reposition without putting holes in your walls.

Stayed on wall for maybe a day. Even tried using my extra heavy duty command strips

I love this shelf so much. It’s perfect for a place you can’t drill holes in! Easy instructions and pretty sturdy!

I bought several of these shelves to use in my hallway and kids' rooms to display very lightweight items. My daughter's shelf, which holds an alarm clock and reading glasses, has held up fine. The shelf I installed in our hallway, which held two *very* lightweight photos (the old Pier One pop-in plastic frames with thin glass - less than 1 lb total) fell and not only shattered the frames, it also damaged my wood floor. The backing strips are *really* thin, not the Velcro used for their picture hanging kits. I am returning the rest of these, as I can't chance breaking any more frames or doing more damage to my floors.

it will fall down. no matter what. even if you use 15lb command strips, it will fall. garbage product

Do NOT buy!!! They do not stay up with the provided items (strips and hook things) and constantly fall/lean. Even with light or no items at all. The bottom of the strips was the only part that held at all (?) the top refused to. Upon trying to remove the shelf entirely, the strips took the paint and some of the drywall off of my wall. I’m sorry what? YES i followed the directions and removed them as intended, this isn’t my first command product. They do -look- nice when they actually stay though. If you can’t mount something via drill, then I advise you to keep looking.

Worked great for our purposes - only wish the shelf part was a bit wider.

Low quality doesn’t stick at all

I tried using this several times and each time it fell down within hours. I use command straps all the time and they usually work but not this one. I even tried it with the velcro strips and it still fell.

Bought two for daughter’s bathroom for small skincare products. Followed the directions, cleaned area with small amount of rubbing alcohol, which took a layer of paint off. Hung them, within ten minutes I could hear the outer strips unsticking themselves from the wall. Both crashed to the floor within an hour, taking a chunk out of the front of one of the shelves. Nothing had been placed on them. Back to Target, bought more command strips, not cheap, repeated the process. Did not put anything on them for a day. Next day put three small plastic bottles, half-empty, on the shelves. Not even half a pound of stuff. Bottom one fell about an hour later taking a huge chunk of paint off the wall which I just had painted six months ago. Good idea, doesn’t work. Drill the holes, better than taking all the paint off, spending money repeatedly on the command strips and then having to drill the holes. The same paint is in my daughter’s bedroom and she has multiple things on command strips in there that have never fallen.

Can’t even withstand the weight of the shelf itself, let alone 5 additional pounds. This shelf falls every time I put it up, even if I wait days before adding anything to the shelf. Save your money.

Needed a small shelf for our bar area to display shot glasses. Thought we would have to drill through the grout but no, 3M and their brillant command strips did the job! Reading through a blog about how to mount something on ceraminc tile and someone mentioned the 3M Command Picture Ledge. Wow, what a find! It is perfectly sized to hold the shot glasses in the small space we had. Easy to install. Well worth $19 (rounded up.) Absolutely perfect for this purpose. Would highly recommend. Thanks to 3M for creating this!

will not stick on the wall or inside the cabinet. I tried the adhesive provided and ended buying stronger adhesive for 30lbs even though what I was putting up was 3 lbs. Even so I would wake up to it fall in the night. I officially gave up after attempts. I'm going to stick to making holes on the wall

I was so tired of putting holes in the wall, so I thought I'd try using a Command shelf. This is prefect! Easy to stick to wall and holds my knicknacks. It's nice knowing if I ever want to take it down, I won't be leaving any holes in the wall.

I had an order for drive-up, got home and opened the bags and saw that there are two scuffs on the shelf that I can't get off. I'm not looking forward to going to my store to replace

I’m so happy with these command shelves. I put them on some empty wall space for all my skincare products.

I was skeptical about this item due to the reviews, however, it has worked great in my bathroom! I wanted it to hold my skincare items. If you follow the instructions and give it a few hours before putting anything on it, it adheres well. I wish I would have used this before screwing holes in my wall attempting to install a floating shelf.
