I purchased this out of desperation when my straightener broke before an event. I actually cried while using this tool because I could feel it ripping my hair out. The plates don’t touch unless you grip at the top but it’s too hot to grip there. Using heat protectant just made it get stuck and not glide down my hair, which never happens with my other tools. Definitely returning.

I got this straightener as a Christmas gift in 2023 and for the first couple of months it was absolutely terrible, I actually hated it so much, but I got around to using it more and it got a lot better, I recommend using the right heat for your hair type though because this straightener gets extremely hot and your hair will fry

Not my favorite straightener, but it gets the job done. I just took it to Europe and yes, it is dual voltage - it worked in Europe, and it continued working when I used it again back in the U.S. Confusing though because not all packaging for this product has the same "dual voltage" feature advertised.

Save your money, takes forever to straighten and feels cheap made. I’ve bought other inexpensive hair styling tools and they’ve always worked fine. I tried this one out for a year and it still makes my hair feel icky.
