The temperature is super hard to see because it doesn’t light up and when you go to straight your hair it doesn’t close tight enough. They just don’t make products like they use to

Not for thick hair
I had this straightener for about a year. I have thick wavy hair and this product takes forever to finish styling my whole head and then a few hours later it gets wavy so I have to go back and do my hair again. I do like the controls and it is easy to use but it just doesn’t work well for my hair.I recommend this for thin or fine hair.

Not good for thick hair

Better than the super expensive ones
I still have the OG purple color one from 2015 and it’s still going strong. I’ve tried so many others and when I found this one it beat all my super expensive hair straighteners. I still can’t believe it’s lasted me this long too. I always recommend it. Plus you can’t beat that price.

Pulls my hair!
I knew I was getting a cheap straightener but this is terrible. It doesn’t get hair as straight as I’d like, but even more annoying is IT CATCHES MY HAIR! It’s painful. My hair gets caught around the plates and it pulls and breaks it. Cheap design and cheaply made. Waste of money.

She has normal hair and these make everyday styling very effortless. Their lightweight design definitely helps that fact and to top it all off, they have a shut off feature so no worries of leaving it on for hours and hours. Definitely recommend.
