After using this curling iron my curls would only sit for 5-10 minutes max before my hair started to get frizzy and messed up, I thought they were just making beach waves out of the curls but the curls just look wacky after 10 minutes and my hair does not even look curly after use of this curling iron.

This is my go to curling iron even though I have more expensive ones. Never thought one as cheap as this would be all I needed! I even brought it to Europe not knowing it wasn’t compatible and then it stopped getting hot. When I came back, I contacted Conair for a replacement since it was within their 5 year warranty and they shipped one to me!

Have owned several Conair curling irons over the years, however the latest one is going in the trash. It's the 1" Rose Gold Titanium. The dial is in a place on the grip that I constantly hit with my thumb or fingers during use. This causes the temperature to change, which means it's either getting WAY too hot or starts cooling down and I don't get good curls. Very frustrating. Will definitely be paying better attention to the dial/button placement on my next purchase.

Hair kept getting stuck in the screws and pulling out. I used a different curling iron for 5 plus years and I never had my hair get stuck. Your hair doesn’t glide down the barrel. The barrel is too short to try and avoid hair getting close the the clamp screws. The cord is too short. And the dial is annoying. But if that was the only problem, I could have lived with it. It produced good curls. So I can’t complain there.

So the end product was nicely curled / waved, but the product itself feels very cheap. My hair doesn’t glide through the clamps like it does my chi flat iron or Paul Mitchell 1.5” curling iron. Not my fav iron but it did the job.

Heated up very quickly which was great, but no matter what I did or how I held the iron my hair kept getting caught in the screws on the side of the clamp. Literally ripped out a bunch of hair. I don't recommended if you have long hair!

This worked well until it TURNED MY HAIR PINK!!! I have bright blonde hair and after 3 months of using it one morning I was curling it and my hair started looking pink & I noticed the rose gold color is coming off on my hair! Not happy at all.
