A: I had the same problem and ended up taping it on with miraculous duct tape. Not so pretty, but it doesn't fall off and make me nuts!

Q: Why does the attachment fall off? It didn't at first, then occassionally, now it won't stay on. Nothing has broken off--it looks identical around rim to the difuser which does clip on tight.

Hands down the best dryer and diffuser combo there is. However over time, I dropped the diffuser and the part that clips into the dryer broke. I really wish you sold the diffuser separately so I could purchase multiple ones.

I WANTED to love this blow dryer. I left my previous blow dryer that I loved at VRBO. It's about 10 years old so it's time to replace it. Anyways. I bought this one because I like the attachment for curly hair. I have wavy hair and my daughter has thick spiral curled hair. I used it on her hair first. I told her it would help with her. Frizz and lock in her curls. Her hair got really poofy and super frizzy. She was not happy. I figured maybe it doesn't actually work on curly hair but it should do fine on wavy right? So I used it on my hair to help with the waves. It took forever to dry. Afterwards. My hair was frizzy and the waves didn't stay or look nice. The next time I used it I did it to straighten my hair. It took way longer to dry my hair than my old blow dryer. It also left my hair lifeless and frizzy. My old blow dryer left my hair shiny and bouncy and sookie smooth. I figured it was use your air so I tried a third time. Same problem. My hair is frizzy and dry and has lost its bounce. Plus it took over 15 minutes and still wasn't dry. Unfortunately this will be returned to the store. I was also hoping it would be quieter than my old machine, but it's not. It's just higher pitched.

I love the way the air blows hard out of this dryer, but the diffuser is not good at all. I have only used mine about three times, and it will not stay open. You are supposed to be able to open or close it as much or as little as you want, but mine closes every time I use it.

I use the diffuser that comes with the dryer on my hair and this dryer has several different settings on the diffuser, depending on how curly you want your hair to be. Today I used the setting that gave me the most curls as well as the tightest curls.

My dryer totally died mid use, and it's only 4 months old. I only use low speed, warm or cool settings. It got super hot to the touch, made a loud thunk, then died. The gcfi didn't trigger, but I was worried it was going to start a fire it was so hot. Just be wary. I do love the diffuser though and hope to reuse it.

The hairdryer itself is great, but the plastic used for the attachments breaks down with use over time—all the continued exposure to heat and they get brittle. The "universal" attachments never fit, and now the hairdryer I bought, that with the help of the directional attachment was helping my fine, wavy hair stay tangle free, is making my hair a mess after the attachments fall off in the floor during use.

I have curly hair and while it is a decent diffuser I feel like compared to others on the market it fell short. It highlights the different hair types and being able to handle them all. I had a few friends come over all with different hair types and it only worked on the wavy hair. For the girls with tight curls I would not recommend. HOWEVER, the blowdryer itself is nice. I enjoy the multiple settings and power strength. The cold blast is great and hair doesn't seem to get caught. I wish it had a bit more power for thicker hair as it seemed to take a bit longer than normal. Overall decent

Do not expect sensational curls. This product is more for wavy looks. This product did not cause any harsh damage to my hair. Due to the sizing of this hair tool, I was able to fit a good portion of my hair when styling. It does not break the bank for conscious purchasers. I will continue to use. I received the product for testing and reviewing purposes.

I've only ever had 2 hair dryers in my entire life and this one is by far the nicest one yet. The good: it heats up hot and fast, warm was enough to dry my thick hair 1/2 way in about 15 minutes. I also really liked that the diffuser was adjustable so the heat could be directed more specifically. I like that it has a removable dust cover so you can clean it easily and the price point is good. The bad: the buttons are right where your fingers go so it's easy to touch them by accident, it's a little heavy which is why I stopped at my hair being done half way (I have waist length hair). Overall it's a good hair dryer if your looking for something that's affordable without compromising quality. If I needed to buy or gift a dryer I would definitely get this one.

I find the Shark to be a little weak with it's diffusing and really need it for my curly hair. This was good, better than the Shark's attachment, but not by such a margin that I was wowed. I don't think I would reach for this before my Shark just because convenience but for someone that doesn't have a diffuser, this is a good one!
