Constellation Projector - Bullseye's Playground™

I wish I had read the reviews before I purchased but it was a last minute buy in store and it looked fun. Trust me it is not. It has the tiniest screw that you have to find a mini screwdriver for. Then when you finally do that and turn it on it just basically strobes red, blue, and green lights continuously and super fast. That goodness I don't have a seizure condition or I could see this triggering one, it did give me a massive headache in the 10 seconds it was on. Terrible and no way to change it.

If you live in a pineapple under the sea and like hosting jellyfish raves… then this is the perfect item for you. If you are buying this for your toddler’s nap time then look elsewhere. Color changing is annoying, I was hoping for something relaxing and calming.

What idiot okayed this as a toy or a projector? I mean was this designed for crack heads? The speed the lights change and flash are likely to induce seizures and there are no other settings! Asking for a refund . Dude you had one job. One.

The color change speed is wild. It needs to relax. I’m stressed out looking at it.

Wish I looked it up before purchasing because, yes, all it does is flash between red, blue and green extremely fast. Don’t buy this if you have seizures..like me. There should be a warning on this lane.

Uses three AAA batteries. I scooped this up the minute I spotted it. Well made, easy push button operation. Mask glows and projects shooting stars, planets. etc. Will project onto the wall unless you place the astronaut on his back. I used him as a cake decoration, then as a bedroom nightlight afterwards. The projected light changes colors, cycles through colors quickly. Would be nice if it turned off after 20 minutes, but for $5 its a hit! Great party favor, too.

Like all the comments, I bought this for my son’s room and to take into my classroom when teaching space, but the quick light changes makes it ineffective. Also does not add a calming effect

My 11 week old loves this. I needed a nightlight of some sort as baby constantly stared at the ceiling light fixture which is no good for his eyes. This projector keeps him calm and busy. He really loves it. I don’t mind it either.

The lights change way too quickly for a calming environment. It is very nauseating.

Like other reviews, the colors change so fast and there are no other settings. It's a cute toy, but not suitable for a calm nighttime environment as I was hoping.

Pros: lightweight, takes regular AAA batteries Cons: requires the tiniest screwdriver, only one light option (rapid changing colors) so not really suitable for bedtime or if you’re affected by rapidly changing lighting

For $5 this thing is really cute. The lights are bright, would be nice if it flashed a little slower or faded but again it's only $5 my daughter loves it.

I wanted this for my science classroom. I don’t know how to unscrew the back to add batteries. I think a small screwdriver and installed batteries should have been installed for ease of use. I will be returning it to the store.

It's very bright and lights up my 3yo room very nicely. It has 3 colors it flips through: red, blue, and green. And no timer only the one button to turn it off and on. That being said, getting the freaking batteries in is the biggest pain in the behind you will ever have in your life. That screw is so flipping tiny it's almost impossible to get it undone. I seriously had to use a pair of my micro sewing scissors to open and close it. Other than that I have no issues with it and will probably go get the spaceship one as well because it's cute. They're kinda cheaply made, which in turn with the screw is why I gave it a 3 out of 5

It quickly flashes between red, green, and blue, which makes the design shift slightly. Definitely gives off rave vibes more than relaxing star scenes.

Im sure it would be great if i could get batteries in it. I have a massive amount of Phillips head screwdrivers, my smallest doesn't even come close to fitting this. I even went to my local hardware store and they didn't even have one this small. My eyeglass kit was even too big.

The only light option it has is a quick changing flash between red green and blue. There are no other obvious options for display choices, which is a little disappointing. And while it is lightweight and easy to move around, it feels like it could very easily break with a single drop.
