Q: Will this bottle sweat if filled with ice?

A: Hello, thank you for your inquiry. The Contigo Jackson 2.0 AutoPop Tritan Water Bottle is designed to be made from a material called Tritan, which is generally resistant to sweating. However, while Tritan itself doesn't cause condensation, whether the bottle sweats or not when filled with ice depends on the difference in temperature between the ice inside and the external environment. If the bottle is exposed to a warm environment and you fill it with ice, you may still notice some condensation forming on the outside due to the temperature difference. So, while Tritan minimizes the chance of sweating, it’s still possible to get some condensation if the bottle is filled with ice and exposed to heat. Q: Is this bottle leak proof? Since the lid is pop-up rather than screw-on, would air pressure changes of an airplane cause it to leak? I've had some leaking problems with other bottles.

Nothing is better! 24 oz is so perfect, better than most which are 20. Now it holds ice PLUS the drink. the lock, the pop-open, are usual and great. I love: wide mouth, dishwasher, finger holder thingy (strong). Only problem: when the rubber washer inside the top comes loose, bottle leaks. BUT everything else is so perfect, I found a way to fix: hold 2 sides of washer down with one pair of thin tongs, and with other hand use thin knife to push washer back in place. I test it for leakage before I leave house and fix before I go.

Good water bottle. Sleek design and lightweight. I miss the old styles with the clip, but this works well too. Auto pop lid is quiet. Main concern, like other reviews have mentioned, is the lid is fragile and prone to fractures when dropped. No replacement lids are available. Consider stronger water bottle if predict rough handling.

Constant leaking! Even when the bottle was just at an angle. My last bottle had a pop lid and didn't have this issue, the new design doesn't seem to work as well.

I love how this bottle fits in my hand. However, the lid broke and became unusable the first time I accidentally knocked the bottle onto the floor. I could not buy a replacement lid so I was stuck with an unusable bottle. I bought a second bottle but the plastic liner has popped out of the lid and cannot be popped back in. I now how two bottles and no lids that work. Contigo - you need to make replacement lids and plastic liners available for sale.

Excellent size & shape to fit in a backpack side pocket. Love the wider opening. Love LOVE love that there isn’t a straw to deal with trying to keep clean (ALL straws eventually get gross no matter what silly cleaning tool/hack you use). Simple design makes this easy to use & keep sanitary. Still looks & works great after multiple rounds in the dishwasher. Excellent water bottle!

We bought two of these, in part b/c of strong reviews. One of the bottles, the lock stopped working after 2 days and kept spilling as a result. The other one, the clasp broke after 2 weeks and thus couldn't be closed.

This is a good bottle. It's easier to clean than other lids and holds a lot. Here are my only gripes... The bottom is too wide to fit into most car cup holders (didn't think of that). There is a little rubber gasket inside the lid that you can't take off or clean under and a smell will get stuck in there, no matter how hard you try to clean it. Lastly, The first time I used this, I had sunscreen on my hands and it permanently etched the plastic so my bottle always looks dirty (it also dissolved the words printed on it). Weird reaction with the plastic.

It's not fuss and a must for my kids to stay hydrated and also have many colors to choose from so each of my kids has their very own to distinguish. I love these water bottles so much. They are sturdy and light weight. I clip them unto my kids backpacks with the metal carabiner. My kids love them too. And you can fill them with ice for cold water. Easy to clean.

I bought this because it’s clear and you can see how much water you’ve had. Unfortunately the lid is just awkward. It’s big and so is the spout. The lid doesn’t always pop open. I wouldn’t buy again.

The gasket on the lid wouldn’t come off to wash. (Gaskets will mold if you don’t take them off, wash and dry them.) I tried so hard, after 5 minutes of continuously trying it ripped and I threw the whole bottle away before ever even using the bottle once. Money down the drain.

At first it was awsome. I loved how it locks close, so you don’t have to worry about any spills. It’s easy to open. Over a month or so of having it, it started growing mold; on the rubber located on the cap.
