This toy cannot be used for even a minute. The battery disconnects so easily as the front wheels are rotating around, that the toy is essentially useless. This is quite disappointing because the promo videos made it look pretty cool. I see that the item is no longer for sale on target.com so maybe that's for the best.

I just opened this thing and I have already regretted buying it. I wanted to put batteries in it before gifting it to my grandson. The remote is fine, it takes 3 AAA batteries HOWEVER the car has a rechargeable battery, that you must REMOVE from the car (using a tiny screwdriver and a very difficult door) every time you want to charge it! How cumbersome and annoying is that? The toy only runs for 20 min at a time and then needs to be charged for 80 minutes! Rechargeable batteries are not fun for anyone. I hope it will be a fun car but for the severe hassle of having to unscrew a door and remove a battery to charge it every 20 minutes, gets it a thumbs down!
