My mother and I (45) decided to try this out. It takes a couple of times to figure out the process. Would not advise buying this for children as it’s very frustrating to set it up, and would require much adult oversight. Doesn’t suggest where to buy additional supplies if needed.

My kids really loved this little device. Plus side, no batteries needed. it makes cranking out those friendship bracelets and necklaces a breeze. It is very easy to use and setup. We did come across one faulty set of closure ends in our set that were just not usable. I'd also like to add that the blue clips inside the closure ends are not the best option for long term use. We had one bracelet come undone on one end after just one day of wear. Unfortunately, the way this is designed you can not just go back and fix an end that comes undone so the bracelet or necklace becomes trash at that point. If this happens save the clips and closures though, those can be reused. Another thing I noticed while my kids used this is the stability needs some attention. A suction cup on the bottom to help secure it to the work surface would be great. It moves around a bit while turning the handle. The box comes with a decent amount of supplies to get started on several creations and also includes charms. I think a cool feature would be to offer refillable spools with more color choices to include rainbow, ombré, and glow in the dark threads.
