A: This step stool is recommended for indoor and light outdoor use. Aluminum does not rust, but it may oxidize if left in the elements and it would be best to store covered when not in use.

A: No you will not be able to reach gutters even on 1 story home.

A: Hard resin (plastic) but have little lines on bottom of feet. Does not slip or slide around.

Q: I cannot fold up the step stool Oped without issue. In one corner of the top step is says "pull" but that doesn't work for me.

A: I had a little problem at first. There is a black handgrip at the top right behind the top stair. You just squeeze toward the front and fold it up. Very easy.

This is the second stepladder I've ordered-- liked the first one so much I ordered another! It is sturdy, tall enough for me to reach the higher cabinets in my laundry room and very sturdy. The bar at the top enables me to lean over comfortably without fear of falling!

I have the Cosco 2-step stool that was purchased in August 2019 and liked its sturdy but light-weight design. I bought the same one in a 3 step but when it arrived, it was loose in a large target box, no packing material to keep it still. The plastic wrapper was off, but the step stool looked fine. I compared it to my 2-step stool and it is not the same quality. The back leg bar is bolted, not welded to the legs. The bottom of the legs are straight instead of spread out at the base so it felt rickety. Also the back leg rubber feet are not as supportive as the front feet so it is less stable. Decided to return. Found another 3-step Cosco that is black, costs more, but it has the same construction as mine.

So glad I bought this step stool. I am 66 years old and this is "feather light". Easy to open and close, nice wide steps, sturdy handrail to feel secure, sturdy and easy to move from room to room or take to another floor. Compact when folded. I can think of no cons for this product.
