We are so pleased with all of the pieces we purchased in this collection: desk, hutch, lateral file and bookcase. Note that it does take time and patience to assemble. We had one issue with a drawer front on the file cab, but Sauder quickly sent a replacement. Very please...thanks!!

It's a good looking desk and seems to be sturdy. However I received it with a somewhat large hole on the top of the larger desktop piece. I did not appreciate a 3" x 1.5" hole in a very visible spot. It was quite disappointing.

This is a great desk. Well made and very sturdy. It takes a while to assemble but the instructions are easy to understand and every part is labeled. We bought the hutch to go on top and I love it!

I got this outfit with the lateral file cabinet and the assembly was easy. Just takes awhile. The design location of the keyboard tray is terrible and needs to changed. When you slide the keyboard tray out, about a 1/3rd of it goes under the other portion of the desk that sits 90 degrees at the corner. Totally not usable this way and have a section for your mouse along side your keyboard. Im trying to figure out how to put another tray system under the desk so my body isnt jammed up against the corner of the desk unit.

I finished putting this together yesterday morning. Overall, it's a great desk. Very well constructed. My only complaint is the bottom file drawer seems that have the holes for the slides a little bit low. The slides had to be adjusted to the extreme limit and the drawer still needs some upward force to close completely. I purchased this on sale, and for the overall quality, I can overlook this little issue. If I had paid full price, I would not be happy at all.

This took a while to put together but in the end it is a nice looking desk. One of the drawers is hard to pull out but it is the drawer I keep lesser used items in. The chalked chestnut color is a nice contrast to the darker trim in the room.

By far the best installation instructions and graphics I have ever seen, and I have trudged through many. A solid product everywhere, with minor exception of the drawer bottoms could be a little stronger. I would have no reservations on recommending.

I use this desk for work and it accommodates my three sewing machines, it is very durable, functional and looks great! Delivery on-time and easy, texted me to confirm their arrival. My husband put it together, lots of pieces so you need to be patient and a mechanical thinker, but the final assembled product was a very professional work desk, no material defects. Love the Costa Collection Chalked Chestnut as it is light and bright and doesn't make the room look small. So glad I ordered direct from Sauder, best price and delivery!

I bought this desk with a hutch. It came in 3 large boxes, and you will have to completely assemble. Definitely recommend power tools and/or a handy-person to help you. They kept me in the loop the loop throughout delivery. The final product is amazing!! Im so happy with it. Its a beautiful color and really sturdy. Im ready to buy matching sets now. Totally love it.

This is a good, sturdy desk. As others have noted it takes a while to put together. Take your time! Review each step and ensure you have the correct parts and screws for that step before doing that step. Took most of a Sunday to put together but it was worth it.
