It is very safe, turning off automatically if it should tip over (which is practically impossible anyway). It is not hot to the touch, even at full heat. Recommended.

The fact that they are very mobile and emit heat from ground level makes them very effective. They have multiple settings so you can control the temperature of the room quit effectively.

Motivated by the astronomic natural gas prices, I wanted an non-gas option. This is a terrific oil heater. It takes about 30-45 minutes to notice any significant difference, so be patient. Once this heater gets going it does a great job of warming up my office space and any other room I roll it into. Prefer this over my central heat.
