While assembly wasn't complicated, it did take two people to accomplish because some steps were awkward and some required a certain amount of hand strength. Once assembled, though, the swing feels quite sturdy.

We use the swing for our grandson. He loves to sit with us on the swing. It was simple to put together and is actually a pretty sturdy little swing. Parts were complete, instructions were easy. Took me twenty minutes.

Don't buy and don't even look into this product. This swing thing is defective. I put this together all the way to almost the end by following the instructions. When I tried to put the bench together, the screws were not long enough to connect the beams together. I laughed.... I put so much effort to assemble them and just found out the hardware they provided not even match. I think Target also needs to do a quality control. We trust target and that's why we shop from it, but turns out many of the items we bought are defective.
