Nice looking but the hole to put sand in(if you choose that over water) is ridiculously small and takes way too much time to hand feed the sand into it. Tried a funnel ….nope. Very poor design …. P.S. We are using sand because of the review about the water rusting the umbrella and it was advertised as sand or water for weight.

We bought this umbrella stand at the beginning of the season- we didn’t realize when we bought/put in our umbrella that the umbrella pole sits in water in the stand. It rusted the pole of our new umbrella after only a month. Poor design. Now need to buy new umbrella and stand again.
