The product description stated “tools provided”, so i assumed no tools were needed; nothing resembling a tool was in the box & the adjustable window adapter needed a saw in order to cut the thick plastic—since i don’t own a saw, i returned it. Unsure how it works since it was never turned on. Hope this saves someone else from wasting their time!

The air conditioner has been received. It's okay to install it and try it out. I've always wanted this kind of air conditioner and it didn't disappoint me. The noise level doesn’t bother me but if you have to have complete silence to sleep with it then you need something else. An air conditioner will have some noise no matter what kind you get.

Our sitting room and bedroom areas were uncomfortably hot in the area farthest from central air unit. We put this unit in the window of our sitting room and it has comfortably cooled both rooms and part of the main living room. I keep it on 82 during day and 80 at night. Highly recommend.
