Q: does this keep a room cold?

A: It uses water/ice to cool with it's fan. Water evaporates, makes cooler. Great in a desert(low humidity levels), not so great with high humidity/cities.

Wheel holes do not fit base
Hello everyone. Similar to what other reviewers have experience, the wheels do not screw into the base of the cooler. The holes that are drilled into the bottom are the wrong size. Therefore if you want this cooler, it will have to sit on the ground. You will have to pick it up to move it to a new location. Disappointing.

It’s worth it
With the different temperatures on it, I prefer the fan and cool. Also the filter catches all of the things from the air, so you must constantly rinse it off every day. And cleaning it is easy.

works for budget
A really works remarkably well. When I got it it's extremely light, bit better when filled but don't put it by pets or busy areas. Low to ground so I put it on top of a storage bin. Fan modes are kind of weird but not really necessary. Wheels are really hard to put on. Gotta jam them in and use a real wrench. I ended up taking them off. Wish it held more water but all together I used it to replace a 350$ dollar one and it works fine and easier to take apart and clean.
