I’ve had this collar for almost a year and it is still in great shape. It can be removed easily but my cat has never gotten it off. It still looks good and functions well.

I purchased two of these collars just to judge for myself after reading some of the reviews complaining that the collars opened too easily. I can say that either those reviewers received faulty collars or they have no idea how a breakaway collar works. These collars are AWESOME!!! They are incredibly well made, made in AMERICA, have a nice sized bell that you can hear, a sturdy loop for attaching tags, are made from really nice material with great patterns, and the breakaway portion works just like every other breakaway cat collar I’ve ever owned. At $7.95, honestly, these are a steal! You can’t find a collar like this for under $12 at any pet store. I’ve found my go to cat collars for good! Definitely give these a try!
