My family has food sensitivity and taking one after getting a headache from processed foods cuts headache time in half or eliminating it altogether if caught soon enough. No different than other charcoal pills I've used.

I think I left this bottle in my purse in the car one time and after that it got this funny taste (I dump the charcoal in water and mix) almost like sewer water. I've done the same with Nature's way and that has never happened. I can't say it hasn't worked because I have used it for stomach upset and it seemed to get better but I just don't feel too confident in the quality. I bought it because Nature's way was sold out.

This charcoal does not work as well as the Nature's Way brand. Surprisingly it contains less milligrams and costs more per bottle.
