We had to remove the old gas log insert from the firebox. This new electric fireplace log set was so easy to use…just plug it in and good to go! It is so realistic looking! Also, no smell like the old gas fireplace had!! This is a great product!

The fireplace is great, but the remote control came with a damaged cover for the batteries so that it doesn’t click closed. I don’t think that I will use the remote anyway so didn’t bother to ask for a replacement.

We bought this unit for our condominium last year and loved it. It was very attractive and gave off nice heat. It was such a nice addition to the fireplace, the new owner wanted to keep it when we sold! Now we've moved and hope to buy another one once we settle in.

We do not want a real fire in our fireplace because of smoke and odor. So we bought the artificial logs to get the “wood look.” We still have the black residue from previously burned fires on the chimney walls, so when we turn on the lights in the logs, it actually looks like we have a real fire! We liked this so much in our living room that we purchased a cabinet with a similar “firewood” insert to place our tv on in our den. Makes both rooms look cozier. Could not be happier with the look, heat from the heater and the cleanliness it provides.

I bought this when I did away with my "ventless" gas fireplace in my condo. It is fantastic. The 20-inch was the perfect size for my fire box. It gives off a very realistic flame, and does not use a ton of energy when in the flame only (no heat) mode. I should have done this years ago. Completely satisfied with my purchase.

I ordered my Country Living 23" infrared log set about a week ago and it's already set up and running. Received with no damage, it was packed with plenty of cushion. It is a welcome addition to the fireplace. My purpose was at least have the feeling of a working fireplace. When I had a new roof put on, I had the chimney taken down. All I wanted was a feel and looks of a fireplace and I got it with this one.
