For less than $300, most of the desk is solid wood so it's very nice – but the box is HEAVY. I've put together my fair share of furniture and found this to be fairly easy to do by myself. Love the size and how strudy it is. It's a great desk!!

We are intended to use this as a home desk. Functionally it is good, but came with a lot of damage. Aligning some of the screws and fastening was a real problem.

Since 2020, I get to work from home two days a week. I needed a desk that gave me arm room and this is perfect. Only wish it had a few more drawers

The desk is great in shape, size, and function. However, it did arrive with a chunk of the veneer ripped off of one of the panels (and of course in an obvious spot) the ripped off piece of veneer was lying in the box as well, so it obviously happened at the plant. Apparently they need a better system for their quality control, but otherwise, I think it will be perfect for our needs and it is a beautiful desk. Love that it was made in the USA!!

Lovely desk, so much space for all my work! Down side is that its super heavy and was easy to put together until the end. When you get to step 29 and you have to connect it at the corner it takes forever.

This is a great desk for the price. Quite heavy. Well made considering it has no real wood (MDF). I showed a before picture so you can see how many pieces you have to deal with. It took my husband and I four hours to put the desk together. There are 36 steps in the assembly manual. Easy to read and interpret, but tedious. Just a warning. Otherwise a great desk and am pleased with the purchase.

The desk itself is very nice and sturdy. The legs are MDF board but the rest feels pretty sturdy. It’s pretty heavy. A decent desk all around. However, there are some issues with putting it together and the final product. The parts are labeled but are inconsistently labeled. Some have stickers, some have numbers written in sharpie, some some have numbers burned into them. It’s inconsistent and sometimes hard to find what you’re looking for if you don’t know if you’re looking for a sticker or a sharpie or what. The panels that do have stickers have the stickers on the visible side of the panels and peeling off the stickers leaves residue on the surface. The instructions do a really good job of being clear but finding the parts can be a chore. There is some inconsistency in the pieces; some boards too long. The MDF boards were easy to size down correctly but if it had been a panel, not sure how I would have been able to correct that. With that said, the desk is worth the purchase, is a decent size, and solid.

The desk looks lovely when completed and is pretty heavy-duty for the price! It took two of us a little over four hours to put together! Some of the pieces were not labeled or labeled in a way that was difficult to read. The desk also came with a few dents and knicks but given they were on the underside of it, I just left as is. Once we stood the desk up and got it in place the smaller drawer is off and takes a shove to shut. That however may be builder error. Looks good though!

I wanted a new L shaped desk for my home office but it would only be against the wall on one side so I wanted the back of it to be nicer looking and not see all the cords. This desk definitely has the look and feel of a piece of furniture for a great price. It did come with some damage that appeared to have happened before packaging because all the packaging was in fine order. I was able to call Sauder directly and their customer care was happy to replace my damaged piece (awaiting it's arrival now). The drawers feel very sturdy, I love the cubby storage between the two drawers. There are nice features like trim pieces under the countertop and cutouts with caps for your cords to go through on both countertop pieces (although I wish they were white as the black caps really stand out). Overall, I'm very pleased!

The directions were fairly easy to follow but the material that the desk was made of was brittle and when we tried to connect it to the larger piece it literally fell apart in flakes!! We called and ordered the pieces needed to complete the desk but one of them was out of stock so we have been looking at a mess for two weeks now and still don't have a useable desk!! Very dissatisfied.

Love this desk! Its very sturdy. It does take a while to put together and does take two people to attach the final pieces together, but overall its not a complicated assembly. My wife and I now have room for each of us to have a workspace in our office.
I would purchase this product again.

Finally have plenty of room for all my office stuff. I like the antique finish, the L shape, its sturdiness, and the single file (as soon as we get it squared away). The downside was that it probably took at least 10 hours to assemble (mislabeled parts, instructions a bit sketchy at times. Don't know whether your engineers go over these instructions periodically for clarity but it might be a good idea). That said, all holes were drilled exactly correctly. The instruction book was thick and quite detailed. Granted, husband is not a carpenter or DIY guy, but really? Would have been 5 stars had assembly not been so painful.
