if you have brows on the thinner side overall this product is amazing, you can fill in and darken and define your brows without it getting too messy and overwhelming and looking fake, like with many brow products. i havent had an issue with it breaking. i just barely extend it past the end of the pencil and use it lightly. hasn't broken. I am grateful to have a clean/nontoxic beauty product that's also high-accuracy for brows and really lets you define them in a careful, artistic way.

Really wanted to like it but breaks too easy

I really wanted to like this product because it was a "clean" product for my eyes. However, even though i like the way it looks on, it is very difficult when putting on because the pencil keeps breaking off. I have to apply extremely lightly to even get it to go on somewhat.... this was my first time buying this but will probably look elsewhere as it is too expensive for what broke off and was lost already.

Found the perfect color but the pencil itself is counterproductive. Keeps breaking and takes so many strokes for the color to barely go on that my eyebrows hurt.

Really liked this product. The line is super fine so you can have more precision and I really liked the brush for combing eyebrows. I think the color is off - I bought the auburn and feel like the color on the packaging was darker (and closer to what I needed) than the actual crayon.

The best brow pencil!! I’ve tried so many brow products over the years across the spectrum in terms of price and never loved any of them. This one is perfection. The 1mm point combined with the perfect consistency (not too dry and not too creamy) creates natural looking hair strokes. I love the brow gel also! So happy I bought this!!

This brow pencil broke every time I used it. I barely got an eyebrow done, the whole pencil was gone. I love the concept of a super fine pencil, just needs to be fixed.

Love the product, the idea of the product, but in use the tip constantly breaks off. I make sure to just turn it so there’s color and even with a tiny tip exposed it breaks! This isn’t happening with another brand so kindly advise….

Breaks very very VERY easily. The color pay off is not good. So you have to be very gentle to keep it from braking AND do multiple strokes just get the color. I’ve have better. Maybe I’m spoiled. But benefit cosmetics works I was just looking for something on the inexpensive side. I’ll keep looking.

This brow pencil is the best I've ever used and I have used so many different brands from high end to drugstore brands. The micro liner makes it easy to fill in spaces in my sparse brows and using the spoolie shades in the spaces. It lasts all day until I wash my face. I've never used Cover Girl cosmetics before and now I'm curious to try other products.

Bought this on a whim since my store was out of my usual pencil (Nyx microbrow in color black), and I really like the formula and nano pencil size. That being said, I’m pretty disappointed in the shade range. I have dark brown, almost black hair/eyebrows, and even in the darkest shade “deep brown”, the color was wayyy too light. It looks ridiculous, like a crayola brown crayon color! Its a good product but I wouldn’t purchase again unless they could expand to a more inclusive shade range! :/

Love the colors and the product however, the crayon tip keeps breaking off every time I go to use it I feel like I’m throwing my money away each time it breaks. Plus, dropping dark pieces on the floor makes it a mess if you can’t find it to clean it up and then you end up stepping in it. This pencil should not be breaking off. I understand it’s not that expensive, but I’d rather pay more for a pencil that works.

I bought this less than 2 weeks ago and using FEATHER light strokes it broke each and every time I tried to use it. I may have gotten a total a 2 total brow uses out of it before it ran out of product! I wish I had saved my receipt because I would have returned!! I will stick with Elf!!
