Q: The compact is obviously thicker than the liquid. I have ultra dry skin with obvious fine lines (typical of mature skin). Does it tend to look “cakey”, splotchy, or settle into fine lines or wrinkles?

This is an excellent foundation, my go-to. It is one of the few foundations that uses titanium dioxide solely as a sunscreen. My skin cannot tolerate the other usual sunscreens including zinc, oxybenzone, avobenzone, octisalate, octocrylene, and octinoxate. Simply Ageless Instant Wrinkle Defying Foundation goes on smoothly with the included pad and gives good medium coverage. The hyaluronic acid and Olay cream in the foundation are good for my skin. It does not settle in wrinkles. In the summer I use a 50 SPF titanium dioxide sunscreen and then apply the foundation over it. One Simply Ageless Foundation container lasts about a month of daily use. Please keep on making it! I am in my 70s.

I bought this recently and love the product and how it looks when applying and how it feels on my face. Looks smooth and blends well. I gave 3 stars and not 5 because the compact case itself. Should be one piece attached . Not a screw on top and flip compartment with sponge applicator separate! Plus where is the mirror!!! Who doesn't apply without a mirror??!! I believe I would purchase again if the case is changed.

This is impossible to open, please make it easier, I have been using this product for years and always dread buying a new one because of how hard it is to open. This last purchase took the cake, we used a hammer, nail polish remover, knife and finally got it open. Had to throw away the new lid and use the old one. Please do something. Thank you.

I love this foundation. This is the lightest, creamiest, prettiest "skin-like" foundation I have ever tried. I find it lasts long enough with a good setting spray, but I don't wear any foundation without one anyways. I bought this on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. Now, the cons: The sponge it comes with absorbs too much product in my opinion, even for a reapplication. Something less absorbent would have been better. And also, if you're going to have a little section like that, why not add a mirror? I certainly think it would make the price point more bearable. Other than that though, I love it.

I love the product but the packaging is horrible. This makeup is geared for middle age to seniors and is extremely hard to open. I spent 10 minutes trying to open and gave up. Please make it easier to open.

The glass bottom must be twisted off the purple cap to access the foundation inside. Make note of the clockwise arrow at the bottom of the purple cap, this is the direction to twist the product cap off to access the foundation. Lay the product between your palms with the purple cap facing toward the ceiling. Press your palms tightly together and twist your top palm clockwise to remove the purple cap. For longevity, be sure to close the product tightly after use. If the product still does not open for you, or if you have any questions, please reach out to us. I absolutely love this foundation as a 21 year old with dry skin. It covers my acne beautifully with great buildable coverage and otherwise lays evenly with a thin layer on the rest of my face. A little goes a long way, almost like a concealer/foundation stick but in a pot. My ONLY complaint is that the lightest shade 205 Ivory is too dark for me even in the summer. I am incredibly pale and need a shade or two lighter, and I'd rather not mix this product with another brands concealer when I could just use this. PLEASE make the shade range paler and darker

It effectively conceals imperfections and evens out skin tone without creating a mask-like effect. Even with a light layer, it provides a natural and fresh look. As for the packaging, it’s convenient and compact, making it perfect for carrying in your makeup bag. The clear lid is a nice touch, allowing you to see the product easily. The texture of the foundation is smooth and silky. It glides on effortlessly, doesn’t settle into fine lines, and doesn’t dry out the skin, thanks to the nourishing ingredients. I liked this product very much, it evened out my complexion and it didn’t feel heavy on my skin or uncomfortable. I will not buy it again though, because the powder breaks up on the slightest impact and it makes a mess. Purchased it twice and both times this happened.

I've used this foundation for several years. I can't open the latest one I just bought! Is there a plastic wrapper/seal on it that I can't see? This hasn't happened before.

Our Simply Ageless Instant Wrinkle Defying Foundations are not packaged with a plastic wrap or seal on the compacts. To open this product, we recommend to place the bottom of the compact tightly in one palm and to hold the purple lid with the other hand. Turn the purple lid firmly to the left to loosen it.
