I love the hungry caterpillar from when I was younger so I am excited to share memories via story. I think this will make an excellent gift for learning and engaging younger children. The caterpillar material is that of a puppet & easy to put together. You can let the kids do it themselves since it doesn’t require any glue.

It was very creative and hands on. She usually isn’t engaged much as she has autism, but she loved playing with this. These were excellent creative toys. Well done.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These puppets turned out so cute! The sock puppets are adorable but honestly I don’t think they will hold up well if used by kids. I plan to use the dock puppets during story time but will have my students use the foam food puppets. The foam food puppets seem very sturdy- they are really thick. If I was going to have students use the sock puppets I think I would use hot glue or fabric glue to attach the pieces so they wouldn’t fall off. Great product though- so cute!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The very hungry caterpillar is one of my children favorite book. I like the they were able to create puppets and bring the story to life. It comes with two socks accessories for the caterpillar before it blossoms into a beautiful butterfly. No glue was needed for this craft they have sticky tape attached and you pull the paper off the back. The children really enjoyed!

The package is super cute and fun to open and let kids sort out the materials. It was super easy to foloow directions and my little one followed all directions by himeslef looking at the pictures on the directions and box. It was a fun puppet show to tell the story of a very famous book by eric carle. Absolutely reccomand this to parents of a young kids.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were able to test this out from Influenster. My daughter enjoyed the fact that she was able to design it herself. I do notice that the entire decorations r sticky so even after it’s set, there will still be some sticky areas too it which will capture dirt, dust and pet hair so I’m not exactly sure how long we can keep it clean. But in the meantime, my daughter absolutely loves it and is able to use her imagination and her creativity

It’s a vibrant and fun way to pass some time with your little ones.  The only downside of this project is that it falls apart easily soon as you get to playing things start falling apart

My almost 2-year- old and 8- year-old had a great time reading the book and then making puppets. It was very easy to assemble and we will get the book out and read it while we play with the puppets!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I loved this when I took it out of the box. It seemed like a really easy and fun thing to do with my almost 2 year old. We were so excited and put the stickers on the socks. We played for all of 3.5 minutes before all the stickers were falling off. I guess I get that it’s supposed to be puppets and maybe the parent is supposed to the the only one touching them. . But that’s unrealistic. I’m disappointed but her wearing the socks after all the stickers fell off was really cute and entertaining and that’s why I gave it two stars.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So got this because it was cute and I thought it be fun to do with my 9 year old daughter. Well we did it more to be funny and bond. This is such an adorable kit of the iconic hungry caterpillar story. You get to make puppets that are sock puppets and make them how you want to tell the story. Now I do feel this was more for a younger crowd but I didn’t think it through with my 9 year old. She was like mom I’m to old for this but we still done it anyways. She is a crafty girl which she gets that from me and we enjoyed it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received The Very Hungry Caterpillar Story Puppets for free from Influenster for testing purposes in exchange for my honest review. I absolutely loved how easy this craft was to do with kids. We liked to read the story and follow along with all of the puppets. My only complaint is that a lot of the peel and stick adhesive didn’t stay on the felt for the sock puppets. It was almost like the adhesive backing was old. We still had a really good time making this craft even though the sock puppets didn’t last. The finger puppets are made of foam and I can see them sticking around longer.

He designed the caterpillar sock puppet and the butterfly puppet, and then he used them to act out the story while I read the book "The Hungry Caterpillar." Sometimes he reads the book and has me act out the story with the sock puppets! The puppets help the book come to life, and he was so proud that he completed this craft with very little help from me. If you have the book, this kit is a must-have. It's adorable and kid-approved!
