[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lovely items, my child loved it and tried to create one of the drawings she made! It is so beautiful to see her expressing herself! This is a very educational toy, seems very durable. But be very carefully with all the sharp things, like the scissors and needles. It was very well secured, but I wish it came with a case or something.

The only thing I would say is this takes a lot of patience and would require prior lessons or knowledge in sewing to complete this. My 8 year old lasted about 10 minutes before she became frustrated and she has prior experience with hand sewing. Otherwise a great little kit!

Thank you for your feedback. Since the focus of this kit is on fashion design – drawing, sketching, draping - we only touch upon a few sewing basics. No prior sewing experience is needed, but as the kit is recommended for children 9+, some adult assistance may be helpful.

She loves the silhouette model and uses it to fabricate her fashions. Honestly her favorite thing to do is drafting the design. She cannot sew yet so would suggest older users or those who are proficient in needle and thread but otherwise she is having fun with this pretty regularly.

Everything in this set is very durable. The whole sewing set is versatile. It has safety scissors so kids don't hurt themselves. And it offers hours of educational value by teaching kids how to design,sew and create custom clothes. It's a good starter set to teach kids how to sew .

My main complaint is she didn't have all the fabric in the swatch book so she was having people pick things but then didn't have them and that bummed her out. She's been having a blast with it otherwise.

This kit is a good introduction to making sketches and fashion design. The kit has over 50 pieces, mannequin, ribbons, trims, fabric samples and more. She is still a bit too young to do the sewing part, but is looking forward to me creating the designs that she has sketched out. Would definitely recommend for those that are 9+ as the box suggests.

This is so fun to test your children’s creativity and even join in, we had so much fun drawing up designs and making them. My son and daughter now want me to buy more fabric so we can make more. We have a new hobby. This is very sturdy and fun to play with.

My daughter was very inspired to create fashion dresses for her doll. The kit contains everything child needs for designing, measuring and sawing unique outfits for dolls.
