[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Such a cute idea! I have a 6 and 3 year old boys. This project would have been better for the 6 year old. Although the dinosaur did survive the 3 year old lol. We have been checking daily to see if the seeds have sprouted.

I went out and bought several more chia pets so they had one each to complete. The instructions were very clear on what they had to do. The paint is NOT washable. So, beware. It seems quite durable. Well made. Strong. It took them about 45 mins to paint because you know, it just had to be perfect (in a 4yr old eyes) she had a blast. I'd would absolutely without a doubt buy more of these, those kids had so much fun with it. They're now sat watching the seeds grow.

My son had so much fun painting the dinosaur with the included paint set and brush. The set up for the self watering was super easy for my eight year old to do himself which he loved. Perfect for any young plant enthusiasts.

My 7 year old was able to read the instructions and set it all up on his own within minutes! It's a great skill to learn as well. Comes with everything u need to grow chia. The planter is plastic too so it's safe and won't break... Absolutely worth buying!

And gives a bit of responsibility for them to make sure they refill with water. Now I didn't really think it would work but it sure did! And it is just adorable!

He had fun decorating it and planting seeds with me. It looks super cute even without using any of the paint. The tongue was a bit challenging to get in the correct spot. It hasn’t grown anything in the first 3 days and the soil seems pretty wet. All the water has been soaked up. Hopefully we see some sprouts soon. I like that it comes with plenty of extra seeds for a second and third planting.

He is 5 years old and in the spectrum, so keeping focus for him is difficult a lot of the time. This was so much fun for him to paint and ‘put together’ that he stayed focused the whole time. He loves seeing the pay off of his time and care for his little plant that just keeps growing. Definitely glad we got this!
