Crest Deep Cleanse Breath Control Mouthwash - Fresh Mint - 475mL

Thank you Crest for making a dye free, alcohol free, SLS free mouthwash. I love the way my mouth and throat feel after using it. It doesn’t mask the bad breath, it eliminates it. I do the swishing regimen for a minute followed by a separate gargling. I also bought the cavity defense variation that I use at night. I love both of them. I have empty smaller 8 oz. bottles of past mouthwash that I fill with this mouthwash so I don’t have to constantly deal with the child safety cap. These wonderful products seem to only reside at Target so I made a special trip there to buy them. It was well worth the trouble. Please continue to make wonderful products like this!

My mouth feels refreshed after using it. I also put a little in my oral irrigator. Folks don’t understand how this mouthwash is supposed to work. The ingredients are meant to NEUTRALIZE bad odors, not meant to make your mouth smell like mint. The faint hint of mint is for the folks who keep complaining that it tastes like water. Folks wouldn’t have so much to say if they actually knew how to comprehend simple directions. The mouthwash does what it’s designed to do.

Feels like nothing? No refreshment at all! Almost like I didn’t rinse with anything.

Does not work. The taste of the mouthwash is very faint. Does not leave mouth feeling refreshed. The packaging is nice but the product is not good.

It tastes horrible and it doesnt work. Extremely small bottle for the price. The bottle says to send your receipt and upc to the colgate and they'll refund you but they list the wrong number and address so you cant get a refund.

Ok. Mouthwash is not supposed to be candy and I hate smelling stinky breath and mint. I like it because it’s mild and my breath is fresh afterwards. It goes have a hint of perioxide but better than the peroxide and water mix dentist recommend. No I did not get paid for this review I just think people think that mouthwash burning means it working. Meanwhile, they end up smelling like funk and mint. This is mild but very effective.

this is so weak. it’s like swishing water in your mouth. there is no “deep cleanse” or “breath control.”

Unfortunately, being unable to figure out how to open this product - The plastic encasing the top and whole bottle that my handy dandy bottle opener can’t get through it to get a grip on the bottle, so I have no opinion to give you! I’ve tried – – I believe my only recourse is to get out a knife, and slit the Darned thick plastic. The white print on a pale blue background makes it impossible to read any instructions that might be available to me, since I have very poor vision as well. Poor design, IMO.

I will not be repurchasing this item again and I can’t wait until I’m done with this bottle. It’s no type of mint flavor at all, just a tiny hint of mint and 95% water. I’m only gonna finish it because of the price of what I paid for this mess. I’ll be going back to The Natural Dentist Healthy Gums

My mouth did not feel clean after using this product. The Crest Advanced mouthwash feels better after use.

As far as “mint” flavor, it’s almost water, but with a chemical aftertaste. Mint isn’t present. Does not make your mouth feel clean, just makes your tongue feel dry. Wouldn’t not recommend wasting your money on this…

Personally I did not like it, the taste was a bit off and my mouth didn’t feel clean afterwards, it just felt as if it was water.

I was very surprised the first time I used it as it has very little taste- but I find most mouthwashes to be too aggressive, so this is really what I was looking for! I suspect a lot of reviewers are confused by what mouthwash is supposed to do- the mint flavor is not what keeps your teeth and gums healthy, it’s the other active ingredients. Even though the flavor is mild, my mouth feels clean and my breath stays fresh all day. I think the labeling should be clearer about the flavor, but this will be my go to mouthwash!

Tastes like water. All of the 5 star reviews are from influencers don’t read. I would not buy again.

The 1 star is being extremely giving. The taste is horrible! I have tried the other flavors but steer clear of the Mint.

The lid is impossible to get off. Standard child safety cap that no matter how you push and turn it does not come off. I finally had to ruin the cap completely to even try it. The mouthwash tastes old and left Mt mouth feeling very dry

Okay, this really was the weirdest mouthwash I've ever had... Maybe I'm behind the times? First, I want to say I don't hate it, It does its job - My breath feels fresh after I use it, and it doesn't even sting. Now the weird part... It doesn't actually taste like much of anything when you are gargling... I'm used to mouthwash tasting like gum, sweet and minty... This stuff just tasted like water while I was gargling... It wasn't until after I spit it out that I got a kick of mint and freshness in my mouth. So like I said is weird. I'm definitely not used to it. Would I buy it again? I don't know maybe? I just can't decide if it's so weird that it's actually kind of awful to gargle with or if it is actually really pretty awesome. Fair warning. I wrote this review using voice to text, I am sure that there may be some incorrect words or punctuation. Lol sorry too lazy to change it.

Save your money. I honestly thought I got a bad bottle because it tastes like water with only the teeny tiniest bit of mint flavor, like what the other reviews I’m reading here are saying. Skip it.

This hit the shelves right as I emptied my previous mouthwash, so figured it was perfect timing to try it out. Now, I like flavor, but don't like the taste/"feel" of harsh mint, so mouthwash is always hit or miss for me. This is straight-up water. Like, flavorless to the point I have to constantly think "this is mouthwash" while using or else I might just swallow it, thinking its just a mouthful of water. You get the tiiiiiiiiiiniest taste of mint, once you spit, & its immediately gone after that. I feel like chewing a bunch gum & then drinking ice water would honestly work better as a "mouthwash" than this stuff. Was nice to try, but will not be repurchasing.

Tasted like peroxide. No sign of “mint” flavor anywhere. Also recommends 15ml but that was A LOT for my mouth. Gross and will NOT buy again
