Crest Deep Cleanse Germ Treatment Mouthwash Mild Mint - 475mL

Hi, I suffer from gingivitis and at first thought this was working, but have now experienced mouth sores on my tongue. I wish it worked as much as it was showing at first, but ended up giving me issues.

It has a different taste, like hydrogen peroxide. It is spicy though. But I see a difference with my breathe

Love how clean my mouth feels overnight and throughout the day. Not sure what these reviews are saying about mouth sores and dry mouth so user discretion is advised. I’d re-purchase this mouthwash. Feels fresh and doesn’t burn. No after-taste.

This took away my taste for two days after using. It gave me dry mouth and sores in my mouth. I’ve never had sores before in my life. Would not recommend. Most of the positive reviews are incentivized.

Says to rinse 2x a day but after rinsing in the morning it left my mouth with a bad taste all day. Everything I ate tasted bad and my mouth has excess saliva all day. Not for me 👎

I purchased this one and the pink bottle. 5 stars for the pink version but this one leaves a terrible taste in your mouth that lingers for hours and even affects how your next meal tastes. I don't know how the formulations are so different but absolutely do not recommend the dark blue bottle version.

Mouth burned after use and could not taste food for days. Do not use this mouthwash.

It’s really frustrating when mouthwash says it doesn’t burn and then it burns. This also left my mouth feeling dry and disgusting.

I wanted to like this, because I think it is very effective. My mouth does feel cleaner and my breath stays fresh a long time, even after a light breakfast. But, it gave me mouth ulcers and burned my tongue. I could barely taste anything all day after I started using this. I used less than recommended because I have quite a small mouth, and I even tried diluting it like another reviewer suggested but it wasn’t great for me personally.

I love that this mouth wash is alcohol free. It does sting my mouth a bit so I hurt dilute it with water. For those of you saying it hurts, ulcers, too strong.. just dilute it!

I had a complete allergic reaction to this product causing ulcers inside my mouth.

Finally found a mouthwash to replace a discontinued one I loved. I wanted a germ-killing rinse for the morning that wasn't too strong of a mint, no burn, no mouth lining irritation (people who lose a layer of lining from certain ingredientsor peroxide you know what I mean!), no flouride (because I use a different flouride rinse at night), and this is it! The flavor is like a sweet peppermint but not harsh, leaves my mouth feeling fresh, and is so easy to use. My oral health has drastically improved after adding this and Plax into my routine. I can only find it at Target- please don't discontinue! I love this sooooo much! (My routine with this product that is working really well! *Start a podcast otherwise it's boring, use a timer on your phone to time brushing* 1. Swish with Plax. 2. Floss 3. Brush with either Arm & Hammer Whitening Plus TheraBreath toothpaste or Hello Dragon Dazzle Blue Raspberry (sometimes I don't want minty toothpaste). 4. Rinse well then swish with Crest Deep Cleanse. Spit, done. At night I do the same, but swap out the Crest Deep Cleanse for ACT Kids flouride rinse in whatever non mint flavor.) I might try the Crest flouride from this line though.)

I wanted to love this product, but the lingering aftertaste isn't pleasant. I will not be repurchasing, unfortunately.

Gross cinnamon flavor, almost no mint. These people who like the “mild mint flavor” must not realize that it is VERY mild mint and almost all cinnamon! I really wanted a mouthwash that was minty without tea tree or menthol, so I chose “mild mint” which was a big mistake. This is so disgusting and disappointing, please be warned this is mildly mint because it is majority cinnamon. I’m returning. Why don’t they say what else is in their “mint” flavor?!

This is honestly (I'm 60) the best mouthwash I've ever used! Got it on a whim to see how I might like a non-alcohol mouthwash, and this is nothing short of terrific. I use it at night before bed, swish and spit (no rinse). I wake up without "morning breath" and just feel great. But I haven't found it outside of Target (I live close so it's not too big a deal, but odd that it's not in my even closer drug store).

Lingering aftertaste

While I definitely felt like cleaner I had a weird taste that lasts for a whole day. I liked that it wasn't overly minty, and I did indeed feel a cleaner mouth. I can't get over the taste of it in my mouth all day. It does last 24 ish hours though.
