A: Once cooking time has expired, the unit will automatically switch to the Warm setting. The indicator next to Warm will light and remain on Warm for 8 hours. When the Warm time expires, the unit will beep for 5 seconds and turn off automatically. After setting time, timer display and On/Off indicator will still flash. 8. Set the desired cooking mode by pressing the High, Low or Simmer button. Refer to the chart of cooking table guidelines on page 6 for more information. • Once you select your cooking mode the LCD will stop flashing and unit will begin cooking. • To switch cooking modes simply press another mode button.

Q: Are the dimensions in the description for the inner pot or the outer heating element? I want to be able to cook a 5 or 6 lb. whole chicken but not sure it will fit.

A: The interior bowl is a removable 3.5-quart oval ceramic cooking pot. Wash ceramic pot and lid with wam soapy water and rinse thoroughly or clean in the upper rack of the dishwasher.

This slow cooker filled all my needs. I wanted a programmable oval slow cooker. I don't have a lot of room in my kitchen, and I don't like to have a bunch of appliances on my countertop. It's only my husband and I. This fits perfectly in my cubbard, is light and easy to take out and in, and makes plenty for us. I downsized from a 4qt and I don't notice a difference at all. I made a pot of soup and it's made from a recipe without needing to downsize for the size of my slow cooker. The panel is easy to understand and it all works perfectly.

I wanted a smaller, programmable crockpot, this fits all my needs. Not to big it to small, the programmable option is great, it turns to warm after cooking period has finished, so if you are running late, will keep things warm.

This little cooker is a step above anything I've had before. Just follow directions and it does all the work. We've had a terribly hot summer this year and this cooker enabled me to put delicious meals on the table without adding heat to the kitchen. Food actually tastes better from this cooker.

Actually a zero. Did not heat well at all. Items that should cook in four hours took over eight! After several attempts we sent it back. It was a perfect size...but I wish I had paid attention to the negative reviews I read, I gave Cuisinart the benefit of the doubt and got stung. If it had worked it would have been a greta 2 person cooker.

It works for 2 people. I didn't want a bigger one. Programmable, and easy to use. Just low, high, simmer and warm. It fit our needs! The only thing I'm not sure about is it doesn't seem to heat sufficiently on low or high so you might need to adjust cooking times.

I was disappointed with this purchase. I put a roast in the cooker and put it on high and after 6 hours without ever removing the lid the juice never boiled and it took forever for the small roast to cook.

You can set it and walk away. The fact that is cooks slowly then switches to "Warm" means you don't have to stand over it and monitor the progress. The slow cook method seems to produce a deeper flavor. Worth it.

This was a replacement for an identical model that failed after many years. It is the perfect size for two people for dishes with leftovers, e.g., turkey chili. The timer works as expected and it is easy to clean.
