Q: Hi i did burn this little sauce pot {i forgot about it on the gaz } now wash it and see rust is it safe to used? if not can send it to be fixed?

A: Thank you for your inquiry. We apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced. • Bon-Ami®, Cameo®, Bar Keepers Friend® or Never Dull® are all excellent cleaning agents. Add water to a small amount of any of these cleaners and stir the contents until it becomes paste-like. • Apply the paste to the affected areas and let it sit for 30 minutes to an hour. • After time has elapsed, scrub the paste and rinse the solution off. You should notice an improvement after cleaning. You may need to apply the paste a few times or as needed.

A: there is not exposed aluminium with this saucepan. The base is made with tri ply technology... meaning 1 layer of aluminum sandwiched between two layers of stainless steel. There is definitely not any exposed aluminum.

I received this item on January 28 at 3 PM. I decided to boil yellow potatoes I put in 2 cups of water a little bit of salt a little bit of pepper. I did not let the water evaporate and guess what the pan still burnt. It has burnt marks on it . I'm so disappointed so I will only use this pot to boil an egg or possibly some Ramen but I guess I won't use black pepper anymore.

I only had this pot for maybe 2 weeks before it started to develop these black spots inside that won’t come off. Besides simply boiling water, I have only cooked a handful of things in it and more and more spots show up.

I purchased this pot because it was the perfect size for cooking rice for one person. However, it heats up very quickly and unevenly, which has led to my rice burning every single time!! even with the fire on the lowest setting. This pot may work well for boiling water or preparing instant soups but thats about it.

I use a small saucepan for so many things. So, when I found this Cuisinart on sale, I immediately ordered it. I have used Cuisinart sauce pans through the years and they had held up well for the price. Not this time. Not only did this little stinker pit within two uses but I am also seeing the appearance of rust. $17.+ and a trip to the trash after two uses turned out not to be good deal.

Horrible pan I wanted up soup didn’t even let it bowl and it started to chip then I gave it another chance and tried to make some rice in it and it burnt my rice to the point that the entire pan is screwed up now

Initially I really liked this pot since I had made the switch over from non stick pots. After one or two uses though the stainless steel coating or whatever started to chip...I still used it but it's probably something of concern. Additionally after less than a year of use the pot started leaking somehow on the bottom so it was rendered useless. I got rid of it and got a kitchen aid pot instead.

If you're looking for a nontoxic cooking option, look elsewhere. I bought this thinking that a simple, stainless steel pan couldn't go wrong, but the inside of the pan is painted and said paint was falling off into the pan before I could even consider using it.

It’s not true stainless. There are many black rust spots coming from the bottom after using a month. Poor quality!!!!The lip is very hot to touch when something is boiling.

Great Saucepan, but Scalding Lid

Overall this saucepan cooks beautifully, and the pan itself is well made. Unfortunately, I have nearly burned my hand on the scalding hot lid handle. On my first use, never thought about it being hot, because most pans have heatproof handles. Did have to apply treament for burns after I grabbed the lid. Now I always have to remember to use a hotpad. Just wished I had this warning before I purchased the item. The manufacturer should correct this feature to a cool handle such as the one on the pan itself.
