Q: Is the interior made of 18/10 stainless steel?
submitted by H - 3 months ago
A: Thank you for your inquiry. Currently, the only line of cookware which is 18/10 stainless is the French Classic. All other current stainless-steel cookware is 18/0 which is also called Premium Stainless Steel. This means that neither performance, quality, nor appearance would be compromised in anyway. I hope this helps clear everything up for you.

This was my first experience with stainless cookware, but I am very satisfied so far! Following the advice in the booklet the pan came with, I had no trouble cooking my food perfectly and cleaning the pan effortlessly. When it says that the entire pan heats evenly, it really means it! I was shocked at how hot the sides of the pan got. Meanwhile, most of the handle was cool to the touch. The handle's base was just barely warm. Great experience so far, and I definitely plan to buy more from this collection.
Cuisinart Triple Ply Cookware Set

Although a little heavy, the pans are beautiful, sturdy and well made. No doubt will be the last set that I will need. I would have liked to have see through lids but it wasn’t a game changer. Would highly recommend.
Well worth the price

I hated giving up my ancient but like-new Wearever pans, but they don't work on induction cooktops. After much research, I selected the Cuisinart triple-ply. The pans are heavy, but sturdy and well designed. The saute pan is exceptionally versatile; I've used it to make risotto, spaghetti sauce, and a number of other dishes. Handles remain cool. If directions for preheating and oiling are followed, the fry pans are better than conventional nonstick pans. Pans clean up easily with dish soap and sponge, and have maintained their shine. They work beautifully on my induction cooktop. Considering the price of similar sets, these are an incredible bargain.

Bought this pan as part of set for use on our induction range but it is NOT useable. Bottom is NOT MAGNETIC. Other pans/pots of set are ok. Not returning only because cost of heavy pot too high.
Does it all.

I had a similar Cuisinart pan that after 30 years had a warp bubble. This was a replacement and it seems to be handling the heat well. I need a solid bottom as I have a smooth cooking surface.
I really like them.

I have this pan in two diffrent sizes as Im switiching over to steel and cast iron from non-stick. This for me is a lifetime purchanse. It works great IF you know how to heat it properly. Once you get that under control it works like a charm. Easiet clean up ever with Barkeeper's Friend.

This was a replacement for another like product from a different line. It is well made the perfect size for 2-4 serving recipe. It is heavier the the original product but defiantly better in quality. The original selection was based on the extra handle which is so very helpful when the pot is full of hot and heavy food. I also like the depth of this pan over a traditional large frying pan.
A pan that will last years

Very nice cookware, heats up fast. Don’t make the mistake of putting burner on high, medium is all you need to boil water. I’d give 5 stars if pan cleaned up easier. Outside is easy to clean up, inside not so much.
Not great.

It was sent as a replacement for my good stainless pans. I’ve only used them a month and they’re already discoloring and getting blue splotching.

A beautiful tool for the serious cook, this pan is well weighted with a heavy bottom for great heat transfer and nicely rounded lip for easy pouring. The super smooth finish surprisingly resists sticking unlike other stainless pans I have. I use it on an induction range and it is a joy to use. The lid fits very well and I love that it is also steel as I have dropped the glass ones. The handle never gets hot while on the range but also allows the pan to go in the oven up to 500 degrees while others with plastic parts are limited to lower temps.

Reading the reviews I had some reservations since some people were complaining that the pans were not flat or cooked unevenly. I am not sure what they got but mine is flawless. It cooks evenly and the heat distribution is so good I seldom use more than the medium low or medium heat (4 or 5 on my stoves range of 10). It seals so well I have to make sure I leave the top off if I am trying to reduce the liquid. Nothing has burned, the pan cleans up in a snap and the helper handle is very handy when cooking. I love this pan, perhaps even more than another well known brand all clad in steel.
