Cuisinart Coffee Center 10 Cup Thermal Coffee Maker and Single-Serve

I ordered this coffee maker with my credit card points just like I did the previous coffee maker I had. First of all I love the setup. Having the pods along with the carafe is a wonderful feature. Makes everyone happy. The issues I have had: 1) The directions do not state that you have to hit the pod or carafe button before hitting the brew button. After reading the instructions over and over I finally went to the other reviews only to find out someone else had this issue and reported in their review. 2) I don't think the carafe keeps the coffee as hot for long. After 1 1/2 hours, it loses steam. 3) The carafe doesn't have water markings as to how many cups of coffee you prefer. Thankfully, I kept the previous clear carafe and use for this. 4) The carafe lid is difficult to remove. 5) Not all the coffee is dispensed from the carafe.

I am disappointed that this is so loud at the beginning and end of making a cup of coffee. It would wake up a household.

We LOVE this coffeemaker! Not only can we brew K-cups - to the full 10 oz (which NONE of the four Keurig machines we have owned have done, but we can brew a single cup using our own grounds! Plus - we can brew 10 cups in the thermos and it will stay fresh-tasting for a couple of hours. My sister and brother-in-law visited us last week and were so enamored of our coffeemaker that they went home and ordered one for themselves!

This is our 3rd purchase of this coffee maker. I love the thermal carafe and that my husband can make his single serving size also!

This should be a great unit. However, sadly as numerous others have mentioned, the coffee on the carafe side is just not hot enough. Who wants to have to microwave their coffee as soon as it is brewed?

I did not like this maker. I bought it for the reviews because they said the thermal carafe keeps the coffee hot for hours. It does not. The coffee is not even that hot when it comes out of the maker. The burner shuts off which is why the coffee does not stay hot.

I needed a coffee maker for my home and my husband drinks decaf while everyone else drinks regular. This is a great option because he can make his own cup. It even comes with a filter so you can put your favorite ground coffee instead of having to buy pods! Also makes very good coffee.

Love the flexibility for brew options. The coffee actually tastes better with this machine.

Very good coffee system with convenience to brew single serving K cup coffee. A couple of better features would make it even better. Clock backlight turns off after a short while unless you’re in a brew mode. This should have a manual override to stay on. Also,why doesn’t the Bold feature work when the machine is set to Auto On? This would make the machine more versatile for those who want a bold brew with the Auto On feature. Longer time on the carafe heating element would also be beneficial.

Great coffee maker! Works like a champ. I love the insulated carafe. It keeps the coffee piping hot for hours. Highly recommend!

The Cuisinart coffee maker, always gets the job done. Makes a nice bold cup of coffee. Brand new, purchased due to the having a prior Cuisinart which leaked model after a couple of years.

I really like this coffee maker although like others have said the design of the carafe could be different to avoid it spilling out, and the water reservoir for the pods is on the small side but if you can get past those 2 issues, it makes a great cup/pot of coffee.

The k-cup coffee dispenser is very noisy and produces not very hot coffee.

I already own a coffee pot, this was an upgrade and I just love it.

Just what I needed. It replaces a bulky Keurig and Cuisinart on-demand machines. Having the pod capability and regular drip, satisfies all my coffee needs. Takes up so much less space.

Bought this to replace an older model. I use the single side to heat hot water for my tea. Love that it has a thermal coffee pot and a single serve side. Would have given it 5 stars, but you have to lift up the pod side even if you just want just hot water. My older model you just had to press a button. I love this brand!

It’s a lot louder than my previous Cuisinart Coffee Maker.

Whether I’m just wanting a single cup or brewing a whole pot, this machine produces a great cup of coffee at the perfect temperature every time. The insulated carafe is a nice feature and keeps your coffee warm for hours without sacrificing taste. Cuisinart never disappoints! The only two minor things I’d change would be to make the cover on the carafe easier to twist on and off, and maybe moving the filter to the opposite side in the main water chamber so that it’s easier to fill.

After several Kuerig's and the problems and lasting just pass the warranty we decided to try the Cuisinart Coffer Maker. We are glad that we did. Great for making just one coffee or a carafe that holds 10 cups, great for company. Highly recommend this product, and ditch the Kuerig!
