Q: Can I make puree? Puree food

submitted by Alex - 5 months ago
  • A: Puréeing • To purée fresh fruits or cooked fruits/vegetables: Ingredients should be cut into 1-inch pieces; a smooth purée is best achieved when all the pieces are equal in size. Pulse to initially chop and then process by pressing On until the food is pureed; scrape the work bowl as necessary. NOTE: Do not use this method to purée cooked white potatoes. • To purée solids for a soup or sauce: Strain the solids from the liquid and process the solids alone. Add cooking liquid and process as needed.

Great Product! Highly recommend! Just the right size for medium jobs, like whipping humus, shredding a couple of carrots for a soup and etc. Also, not too loud. Very easy to clean and assemble and just like many others pointed out all the additions are easily stored inside. Very compact machine to put away in a kitchen cabinet! Couldn't be happier!

Opened the item weeks after ordering and upon first attempted use, the plastic piece that 'locks' the bowl in place to turn it on. Too late to return yet never got to use it

I downsized to move into a very small space and one of the many things I couldn't bring with me was my beloved 12 cup, solid metal brushed stainless steel Cuisinart food processor . It broke my heart...I loved it. This 7 Cup Cuisinart food processor replaces that one and I have the room for it and can lift it. I love the simplicity of this. The reverse sided blades are brilliant. That gives you four blades in two. I love that! My must haves for buying another food processor were; it must have a chopper blade, a shredder blade and storage. The storage hub on this processor is fantastic! A place for everything and everything in it's place....especially for sharp, steel blades. Not having storage for the sharp blades just wasn't an option . The buttons on this are the same as my 12 cup were...on/pulse...so easy. The seven cup size is perfect for one person simple recipes or for larger recipes. It really is the perfect size. I am very glad I bought this. A food processor is one of a kitchen's most versatile small appliances .

My husband and I LOVE our 7-cup Cuisinart food processor. It works brilliantly for ALL our food processing needs but we really love the lightweight plastic bowl, which makes it so easy to clean after we use it. We are retired seniors, so lightweight, easy to use and clean appliances are important to us now. Thank you, Cuisinart for making our life easier with this reasonably priced and excellent quality machine 😀.

I did a lot of back and forth on size before my purchase. I don’t have tons of storage space. Finally decided on the 7 cup for my first ever food processor and so far, I am pleased with my purchase. Used it for a pie crust type of recipe and it certainly made my life easier.

This is a replacement for my old cuisinart which was at least 30 years old. It still worked but I needed a smaller one so I could leave it on my limited counter space. It works great and I love how easy it is to use. It has solved my space problem.

This is very easy to use, simple one button push. The parts are easy to clean in the dishwasher. So far I made Guacamole which came out perfect. They also include some recipes in the manual. I highly recommend to anyone wanting to get their first processor especially if you tend to cook for 2-4...

As the baker in the family, there are some recipes that use a food processor for prep. I never owned one before. My wife gave me a different brand of processor for Christmas, but its larger size and off brand name led me to exchange mine for the Cuisinart brand based on reviews. Glad I made the exchange!! Though cleaning it is a bit cumbersome, it performs well and streamlines prep time. I highly recommend this unit!!

Attractive compact processor. Attachment blades can be stored in the work bowl which is great. Suction cups on the bottom of the housing base is a good feature. Keeps processor from moving when processor is turned on. Only drawback are most parts are plastic and the processor can be noisy. For the affordable price , its a good value.

My original Cuisinart processor was at least 50 years old and when a plastic connector broke during the holidays, I replaced my aging Cuisinart with a new 7-cup Cuisinart Food Processor. I was delightfully amazed at the design and functionality changes in the new 7-cup version- how the accessories can be stored inside the main bowl, how it assembles and disassembles, how easy it is to wash. Most importantly, regarding ease and effectiveness of use, the blades are marked as to function and are very sharp, effortlessly grating, slicing, and chopping. The modern design and color have prompted me to leave it out on my kitchen counter for easy access, instead of storing it away in the pantry. My new Cuisinart is definitely going to help me save time with food preparation.
