My morning coffee brings me such joy, that I treated myself to a coffee grinder to make my day start off even better. After doing a lot of research, I chose this grinder. I like how it grinds the exact amount you need. It's not loud either. Glad I made this purchase.
taking coffee to a whole other level

The conical burr grinder takes coffee to a whole new level. the only problem I'm finding with it after a months use is the static the plastic container that catches the grinds makes it messy when taking in or out. also this one in particular needs some knocking on or shaking to get the grinds out or they'll drop when you take out the catch. Other than that a conical burr grinder does take coffee to a whole other level especially if your like me and also run a small espresso occasionally and need the grind a little finer. Thanks for reading

This coffee grinder is the best I have ever had. I purchased it to replace an older one that finally died after more than 10 years of nearly daily use. This one does a much better job of grinding the beans. It is also easier to regulate the number of cups using the digital control that the older model that was operated by using a slide bar.

Fantastic works much better than a blade-based grinder.

This is a much larger unit than my previous one. It takes up too much space under my cabinets on the counter. It is very loud, compared to my previous model, and I don't care for the way the grinded coffee pours from the dispenser. It flies everywhere! I'm not sure what the benefit of the programmable grind would be, since I still need to put it in my copffee maker
Grind canister is flawed in design.

Does the job but is complicated to use with too many features and settings; takes a good week to figure it out. The cup setting isn't accurate; off by one cup over. The ground bean canister's lid easily falls into the canister when trying to remove it. Finally, this is the messiest coffee grinder I have owned The grounds are all over the place; the final grind canister is flawed in design and ruins the pleasure of owning it. Too complicated and inconsistent grindings.
Grinds well but messy

Grind options are great. My only issue is that when removing the ground beans it’s a mess. They spill all over. It’s like the plastic is a conduit for static and make the grounds fly all over.
Love it!

Replacing a twenty year old burr grinder I really liked. This one was affordable and had the conical gravity feed I wanted. It’s fantastic! So easy to use and the grind is perfect. Feels very sturdy, is much quieter than my old grinder and holds a decent amount of beans.

We have an older model of this product. This one is much faster and quieter. I like the way it shows you digitally the grind you selected and the "cups". The blue backlight is very nice.
Good grinder, but static is a negative

Good grinder. I love the different grind settings based on what you need to us them for. The only thing I don't like is the static the builds up in the catch container. It makes removing the ground coffee difficult because it sticks to the sides of the container.

Replaced an earlier version Cuisinart DBM-8P1, which lasted about 5 years, with this one. This newer one is about 20% quieter. Does a great job with grinding and cleanup is easy.

Returned and went back to the Flat Burr Cuisinart

When our Cuisinart flat burr grinder failed after several years, I was excited to try the conical burr version. It worked fine but sadly, as so many other reviewers have said, it makes a terrible mess on the counter. After only one week, the chute was clogged. This would not be something I’d like to attack that frequently so we returned it and ordered the good old dependable standby, the flat burr from Cuisinart. Btw, in reading reviews of conical burr machines by other mfrs, sounded like the same messy problem.

Our son-in-law uses this coffee bean grinder during our stays. I love: you can get a consistent bean ground every time; you do not have to measure scoops for each pot; you always get a fresh cup of coffee each time; easily adjust for a stronger or milder pot of coffee. Definitely recommend to family/friend.

Great product. I was using a smaller grinder and it just was such a pain to keep loading the chamber with new beans. This takes half a bag and grinds it exactly as I like it in a minute.

There is something wrong with the canister design. Ground coffee escapes and falls behind the canister and all over the counter when grinding. The canister does not seat properly in place so the grinder will work. Cuisinart replaced the grinder and the new one isn't much better. I would never recommend this bean grinder. Cuisinart customer service was excellent but the grinder is not.
