It is recommended that a rug pad measure one inch shorter on all sides than the area rug. This rug pad can be cut to size with a pair of sturdy scissors or utility knife. This rug pad carries a 10 year wear warranty.

This is the absolute best under rug pad! I have bought countless pads to keep rugs in place and they all moved and bunched up under the rug. A little pricey but worth the price. Also the reviews indicated this pad doesn’t leave marks when placed over a wood floor which was a concern for me. Shipping was fast and well packaged . I am so pleased with my purchase!!

I didn't even read the cushioned part of the name — I just needed something to keep my rug in place when my dog gets the jitters and runs around it. But I can definitely feel the extra padding when I walk on it. A canine of her class needs such comforts. It's a little long for the carpet I own, but I just cut the overflow off and use it under a smaller rug. I don't know why there are five stars for things like this. Either it works or it doesn't.

Great rug pad, good quality and great price. We ordered 2 of them for some nice cushioning for our new pottery barn rug that turned out to be super thin... Not overly grippy, I would give it a 3/5 on the grip rating. I have bought other pads in the past that are like glue, this is not the case with this one.

I'll make an exception this time. OK, it's a rug pad. It keeps my rug from slipping. Pretty exciting, huh? It is a little short of making my life over but it is nice to have my rug not slip.

The smell was overpowering in a bad, plastic way. Even after several hours out of the bag, it stunk up the entire first floor of my house. I decided to wash it with OxyClean and laundry detergent and then put it in the dryer on low heat and a scented dryer sheet. That helped a little so I still may be able to use it once it airs out longer. Other than the horrible smell, the padding added a nice amount of cushion to our floor rug.
