AC cools better than expected. Living in overheated/hi humidity Texas, it is a blessing. Fan is quiet at low speeds, somewhat noisy on hi speed, not too bad. Quality is excellent, and the price was unexpectedly low. Cannot complain, thank you, Danby.

Just installed and seems to be working great. I found instructions hard to follow and it did not fit into my window very well. I guess I didn’t pay attention to the size of the window and the panels weren’t wide enough so now I have to find a way to make it work.

I've been using it for about a week and it is cooling great. Very happy with it. I noticed it has copper piping instead of aluminum, copper last longer. I really like that I can turn the display off so it doesn't light up the room at night. It is high quality at a good price.

I bought this Danby 8K BTU air conditioner to replace the Danby 6000 BTU A/C that I have had for the last 9-10 years. I have never had a problem with my old AC, but have moved, and my new bedroom is larger. This new unit moves the air exceptionally well, and cools even better than my old unit, for practically the same electricity ! A+

I've always relied on Danby the air conditioners. I tried to step out and buy a bigger one by somebody. I didn't even know I ended up taking it back. And getting my dandy the only problem is the remote sticks so I might have to call the company to send me a new remote.
