Description
This 14,500 BTU window air conditioner by Danby is perfect for living spaces up to 700 square feet. This model comes with a 24-hour programmable timer, sleep mode, and an energy saver switch, all of which helps to reduce its overall operating costs. To help maximize cooling, this unit also comes with 4-way air direction and a ‘follow me’ function, where the remote control has a built-in thermostat that allows for more precise cooling. Writing a review because I get 2 extra months on my warranty. Thing is, I have only had it for a month. This month has been a heat spell though and this Danby does keep up! Works with my Google Home, I can use an app to check temperature, shows inside temperature as well, has sleep modes... really it is too bad it is being discontinued, it's a great unit. I would much prefer a kit for a different type of window though so I can use it in other windows, not just vertical slide.

Works well. My apartment is about 850 square feet. Coolest in my living room where the unit is. I like the remote and that there are different setting options.

This A/C cooled down my living space quickly, I had a 12,000 BTU unit before, but this unit was the same size & 14,500 BTU It really made a noticeable difference in time to cool & overall temperature drop.

The window unit looks great and cools great. Would have given it 5 stars but the install wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be. I guess it is hard to make a unit to fit all windows. The bracket provided was too narrow for my window. I had to cut it and add an additional bracket.i like it has a two year warranty most are only one.
