I asked the company on social media if this is bleach and they said NO, it is a lightener, i proceeded to tell them the product bleached my black shirt like the box bleach and they said like any hair dye products, the product will stain. This is bleach. since the review, i have done my hair 2 more times, and damaged the already blonde bleached hair like chickle, gum stringy hair, that i had before the review. total regret. this is an update on my review. Ill still use it after my hair grows out. i love the price and results.

I’ve dyed my hair with different brands. This “vegan” formula is the only one that made my head feel WEIRD for hours until I went back home, washed again and applied coconut oil all over my scalp. I believe it left a chemical burn. My hair was heavily dried out. It came with a nourishing, natural ingredient hair mask, that did absolutely nothing. Will definitely never use or refer this brand again. Color didn’t come out right, and already washed out after 2 weeks.

I wanted to love this but this was a slight miss for me. My hair is naturally a soft brown and I purchased 378-Honey Blonde. It BARELY tinted my hair and I left it in for 30mins. Kinda disappointed - the box color result images are way off. Will possibly use a lighter color but of this line of go back to using L’Oréal Féria.

The only thing I was a little confused on this was if I should apply to wet or dry hair, I applied to dry hair and it was fine. I left in for 45 minutes and washed out and the color turned out GREAT! My hair was also pretty soft and not a lot of damaged was done ( I say not a lot because anytime you color your hair some damage is done.) I was surprisingly shocked on how it turned out. For reference my hair was blue and purple and I used the Mocha hair color. Coverage was great, color was great, hair was soft. Highly recommend. I didn't take any before or after photos of my actual hair but here are some photos of what it was before and what it looks like now.

My hair was super soft and shiny after applying, took about an hour to apply to all my hair. Unfortunately my hair turned more red than it did purple. Bummed about that part.

Tried it tonight, it lightened my medium brown hair with red tones to a barely lighter version of the same. The bleach in this product is almost nonexistent. I felt a little tingle it smelled nice enough but that was it. Also the conditioner it comes with is also not very good. I would have loved to get this color, I was putting a lot of faith in this brand.

I was hoping it would come out just like the picture said for black hair but even when it changed it. It was no where near plum or pink... To me it looks more red. And it didn't changed much on my hair. I waited for 40 mins. I would thought my hair in the back would've got more color but nope the front did

I absolutely loveeeeee this color! It came out more like a magenta and it looks stunning in my opinion. I’m sure when I re apply it in another 8 weeks, the pink will even be more noticeable. I’ve used dark and lovely on my hair for years and I recommend keeping the dye on longer than 30 mins. The color will last longer. After about 5/6 weeks it will turn into a copper like color. Still pretty.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the color but not only was the smell outrageous (you definitely want to wear a mask), it was a bit messy to apply it to the virgin hair. The direction was straight forward but I’d suggest checking out a tutorial on YT, if you never done this before. After I dyed and cleansed the hair, it still stained some of my things (ie, pillow, tops, towels). Outside of that, it’s a great product to try.
