This is lots easier than any other method I've used to cook eggs (just done the hard-boiled to date, haven't tried the other options). And it does a great job: nice texture, well done. One small negative: you have to pierce the shell. A sharp tool is included, and so far it's always worked well, but you have to get a pretty good grip on the (raw) egg and press pretty hard, and it feels risky...but I haven't broken one yet!

Don’t waste your time or money! Completely trashed a dozen eggs with this ridiculous contraption.

I love this device for boiled eggs. I struggled to peel boiled eggs but this cooker makes peeling a breeze.

I really enjoy this egg cooker for hard boiled eggs! It only takes 6 minutes w/ just a little bit of water! My husband n our grandkids enjoy using it too!

I wouldn't think this is a complicated small appliance, so I gambled and bought it for $15. After 4 poached egg trials, I can say it was a bad bet. It doesn't completely cook the egg white and if you add more water, it hardens the yolk but the white remains runny. And the "cute noise" it plays when it's finished? Not so much - it is more annoying than not and it doesn't seem to stop unless you unplugg it and wait 30s or so. Didn't have high hopes for $15, but this thing fails all around.

This is so handy for our 11yo daughter to be able to cook herself an egg or omelet. I would highly recommend it for just that alone - independence for your child. We’ve only used the one function of making an omelet but I’m sure it would work just fine for hard boiled eggs.

I love this little egg cooker! I used it for hard boiled eggs and It cooked the eggs perfectly! The best thing is that they peeled easily! No more tiny pieces of shells that you have to pick off. Easy clean up, lightweight little machine and easy to store away.

This cooler was awesome the first 6 months I had it now every time I use it with the proper amount of water the timer goes off and my eggs aren’t cooked to hardboiled all the way then end up slightly gooey in the center. Considering the price and the hassle it takes out of boiling them in a pot I would just re buy this every 6 months to replace the previous one.

Excellent and time saving

Just got this today and was so excited to try it and it did not fail to live up to my expectations. The pleasant little chime went off after only 13 minutes and my eggs were perfect! My only question is why did it take me 63 years to find this little treasure?!!!

I purchased this after listening to all the reviews most of them were very positive but some were negative. I opened my purchase and simply followed the direction’s in regards to “Boiled Eggs” putting pin holes at the large of the eggs by using the pin hole puncher attached to the bottom of the measuring cup and used the measuring cup to select how much water is needed depending on what I am cooking “listed on the cup” the next step is putting the eggs in and a “Tip” is not locking the cooker because when removing the lid the steam could get intense if locked better to just lift the lid off . “ After the jingle plays letting me know the eggs are ready” I then removed the eggs and put them in cold water !!! That was it !!! Excellent !! I was so impressed !!! I have to agree with people who say this egg cooker is awesome !! I love it for hard boiled eggs & omelettes !!!! So efficient compared to cooking eggs on the stove in any form !! Never again !! I simply adore the music that plays at the end of the eggs cooking I honestly feel if yours came out runny or not cooked that the directions were not followed or maybe you have a defective maker… As far as the chime that plays at the end I love music in any form therefore it makes me happy !!! Sorry that it annoys some I guess that is based on your personality!!! Price is very affordable and I plan to purchase some for friends !!!

Buzzer has gone off twice now notifying me my eggs are ready. I'm putting proper amount of water and waiting for it to buzz to tell me it's ready and twice now the eggs came out uncooked in middle
