A: Our easy to clean, nonstick cooking surface is made up of a die cast aluminum plate with a PFOA-free, PTFE nonstick coating. What can I say .. I own so many of the DASH products and not one of them is a failure. Friends just love them and I have gifted many of the Multi plated Waffle machines to friends with children or grandchildren.. what is really cool, is that the kids really get involved with making their own waffles and they have found that they can use hash browns, just scrambled egg mixtures or waffle mix on the waffle plates. They have also laid claim to a specific animal or specialty plate (ie dinosaur or a bumble bee , for example). as well It encourages them to put healthy berries or sliced bananas or other fruits on top to add fibre to their meals. The portions are perfect and filling enough for anyone. AND lastly, the clean up is so easy.

I've received mine last week and have made the mini waffles. Love the results! Donut size is just right in making small sizes. However, I think the mini cupcake plates could be a tad bit deeper. Cupcakes look like mushroom caps instead of a cupcake.

Love the Multimaker. Easy time with the waffle plate, nice one bite sized waffles. Just used the mini muffin plates & made Banana Nut Muffins swapping out the blueberries for one mashed ripe banana and 1/4 c. pecan pieces. I did work out that the batter amount is too much, listed as 1 tablespoon, the muffins spread all over the plate. I had better results just using 1/2 teaspoon.
