This product is AMAZING! It works exactly as advertised. It works fast and cleans completely. I have a variety of cookware: Le Creuset, Made In, Green Pan, Calphalon, Farberware. No more soaking. Don't even have to use a nylon scrubber. A dish cloth or paper towel is all you need.

While it does work well, I’ve purchased three bottles in the last mth and one refill. Sadly I must be doing something wrong because the sprayer quits working and I have to remove the top spray handle and just pour it out and somehow it loses its strength. Even just putting the old sprayer on the refill it immediately doesn’t work. Please help.

We're sorry to hear that this has been your experience, as we do have strict quality checks in place to ensure that you can use our Dawn Powerwash with ease. Your feedback will be shared with our team, and we'd also be happy to share our best tips with you. We suggest making sure that the dip tube inside the bottle is facing the right way; the correct direction for the dip tube is in the same direction as the sprayer, and the bottom of it should be in the corner. To change the direction of it, disconnect the sprayer from the bottle and make sure the sprayer and dip tube face the same direction. As well, to loosen any clogs that may have occurred, we suggest running warm water over the nozzle for a few minutes. We hope this is helpful. I bought this when I first saw it. The scent was either lavender or lilac. I loved that scent but cannot find again. I don't care for the Fresh Scent. It's not a good smell as other fresh scent soaps. Will I be able to get the lavender again??

Sprayer doesn’t work when using with refills

I love Dawn Powerwash Spray…when it actually sprays! I have bought a couple multi-packs one had the sprayer and the refills do not. I have tried cleaning the nozzle and anything I can think of with no luck it still won’t spray. I see several reviews saying the same thing, guess we need to stop buying it and they might fix the problem. Money talks.

We're sorry to learn you're having problems with the sprayer on your current bottle of Dawn Powerwash Dish Spray, Deb. Make sure the trigger on the sprayer is unlocked. The product should be in the locked position on store shelves. There is a cutout in the white plastic that shows a yellow marking at the top of the sprayer. The tip of the nozzle also has a cutout. When those cutouts are matched up and the yellow shape is completed, then it is unlocked. When the cutouts are not matched up and the yellow shape is incomplete, it is in a locked position. To unlock the nozzle simply grasp the tip of the nozzle and turn to match up the cutouts. Once unlocked and ready to spray, ensure to pull the trigger firmly and all the way for a full spray. If this doesn't help, call us for more assistance. We're here Mondays through Fridays, from 9 AM to 6 PM, EST. Our number is 1 (800) 725-3296.

I’ve been using Dawn power wash for quite awhile now, & recently tried it on something else. On my patio I have a leather twin seat with a bar. Everyday when I go out side there is a triangular spider web, about 12 inches long in the corner of the vinyl. So I take a stick & scrape it off. It really irritates me. About 3 days ago I took my Dawn power wash & spray some on that area, then took fingers & smoothed it on. Guess what…NO MORE SPIDER WEBS, & it’s been 3 days now. This product is remarkable. Love it.

I bought it a couple weeks ago and the sprayer will not spray. I tried to turn it, but it will not turn. Does the nozzle have to be turned to open and close the spray? Do the half dots have to be lined up or not?

We're sorry your Dawn Powerwash isn't spraying, Robert. Our products undergo many quality checks to ensure they get to you with the best results, so we don't expect these things to happen. Remove the sprayer from the empty bottle by turning it counterclockwise to release. Then, remove and discard the disposable cap from the refill bottle. Place the sprayer on a full refill bottle and give ¼ turn clockwise to secure. Most importantly, ensure the dip tube and trigger are aligned.
