Q: This crib says two different height positions, but I can’t figure out how to pull it up. The lowest position feels too low for a newborn, I can barely place her in it with such a far reach.

I’m not confident that once the baby starts moving and rolling that this is a safe option. I wish they had an upgrade option.

I would leave zero stars if I could. Once your baby begins teething the paint will easily chip right off, this is a heath hazard and the company doesn’t care at all. They are aware of this issue and need to do better. DO NOT buy this crib.

We transitioned our daughter to this around four months when she outgrew the bassinet. She started waking up frequently through the night, and we figured four month sleep regression. But it continued. For four months. We were sleep deprived and tried everything. Nothing helped. She was getting up 6 times every night. Sometimes it was every hour. Then I remembered a review on this saying the mattress was so noisy their baby woke up every time the baby moved. We used our travel crib one night, and what do you know. She slept sooooo much better. I thought maybe this is a fluke. Nope. She's been sleeping amazingly since we stopped using this crib. Save yourself the trouble. This mattress is far too loud for a baby to sleep well. Do not get this crib.

I love this mini crib! I noticed a smell from the plastic when I first opened it but it wasn’t too bad. I let it air out for a couple weeks and it was gone. It was easy to set up and there wasn’t large gaps between the mattress and bed frame. I’m 5’3 and the highest setting was still a pretty deep reach for me. My baby is 9 months and it’s still at the highest setting. It’s easier to pick her up now! I removed a star because now that my baby stands up in the crib, she started chewing on the bed and the paint chipped off. My main concern is her ingesting it as she had small paint particles on her hands, face and inside her mouth. I take her out the crib as soon as she wakes up now.

I opened the box the day I got it and there was what appeared to be mold or mildew all over everything, the instructions… the plastic on the mattress, and the rails. The screws and other metal parts were covered in rust. Even though the mattress was covered, it still reeked of mildew. After I opened the box, my living room smelled awful for hours. Not something you want your newborn baby anywhere near, let alone to sleep in. I’m very disappointed in my purchase.

I purchased this for my son because we wanted to continue to room share after he outgrew his bassinet. The crib looks nice and is a good size for room sharing. I only rate it low because the packaging and mattress had a bad odor - like chemicals. We aired out the mattress but it still has a slight odor.

Great crib, mattress not safe

Giving this 3 stars because while the crib itself was easy to put together and so far seems fine, the mattress it comes with is not safe. I didn’t realize it was a waterproof mattress. You can’t take the awful vinyl plastic cover off. We used this mattress a couple nights and my baby woke up sweating both nights. Babies under 1 should not be sleeping on a waterproof mattress. We ended up buying a Newton mini crib mattress as that mattress is breathable and it fits into crib great and baby is sleeping safer now.

The crib itself is nice and sturdy. However, the mattress is low quality and will have an indent in it within a few nights. Recommend buying a better mattress to go with the crib.

Love this Crib! I've bought 2 over the last 4 years. One for my daughter which I gave away before I knew I was expecting again. This crib is a must and a win for small places. Perfect amount of space for newborn all the way up to toddler aged. Mattress height can be adjusted. This crib is great on the pocket too.

I just received the item today and it already has multiple cosmetic damages. This makes me unsure about the longevity of the product. The cover/plastic on the mattress also isn't tight fitting, which is concerning.
