Delta Faucets Trinsic Single Handle Bathroom Faucet with Pop-Up Drain

This model of Trinsic does not include 2 dots silkscreened to the top cap which indicates cold and hot water. ( red & blue dots) All the other Trinsic bath, shower sets, tub etc faucets I have used include these 2 colored dots. Even the picture in this review page shows the 2 colored dots but it is not on the product. Instead this model has an all chrome top without the dots, and so to indicate hot and cold it includes a plastic color coded ring that you must insert under the top cap, by pulling up on it,removing it completely, and then removing the bonnet ring, placing it. then placing the 2 parts back on top that must snap back into place. HUH?? yes! Well, this is an accident waiting to happen as the top of the faucet can develop a leak from the pressure of the pull to remove the top. There is absolutely no cost saving in manufacturing to change the cosmetic look so why was this done?? Furthermore, there is no indication in any of the literature or photos that the traditonal , trademark and forever Trinsic 2 colored dots are not on this caps model. Perhaps some people want an all chrome top without colored dots? WHY? but the dots are so small I cannot see this being a requirement. Someone messed up in product marketing.. As a contractor I have installed dozens of these and the lack of the top cap color code is a major oversight. I use this series in all contemporary & transitional design homes and the look is outstanding so much so that you are seeing knock offs everwhere these days. I recommend the series & the brand but not this model.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for use at our cabin and it is perfect. As an interior designer, I am picky about what I put in my own house. Just this one addition to our bathroom updated the room so much. The finish is black, but a dull black that blends really well with other colors in the room, including the dark oil rubbed bronze hardware. This faucet comes with a pop-up drain that matches. The handle took a bit to get used to, but it wasn't hard to use. You push it back and then lean it right or left. My inclination was to twist it and it does twist easily, but it needs to be pushed back as well. The handle does need a little extra care when cleaning, but it is worth it for the look. This is a great product. Highly recommended!

The faucet is a bit tedious trying to to get the water temperature where you want it but once you get used to it, it makes a nice addition to your bathroom.

Definitely a upgrade from our original faucet. The water comes out of the faucet smoothly and at a good pace. The faucet is made of a heavy metal and is sturdy, it should last a long time!

The picture of our recently installed (by a licensed plumber) shows the angle of the handle for the stopper of the sink, This is in the open position. Tile is back ordered, but we will not be able to use the stopper in the sink at all once the tile is installed. It already hits the wall. Should it be this severe of an angle? It does not show this in the spec drawings on the Delta sight. Please and thank you for any help. This is in my own home, but I've worked in bathroom remodeling for 22 years and have never experienced this with any of our clients

Cartridge leaked on 2 of the 3 faucets we purchased. Our new bathroom vanities are now water damaged. Our plumber said these faucets were bad. He was right.

Installed this and shortly after develop leaks.

The installation process was a breeze for my husband. This color looks so good in person. Water flow pressure is average but it does run smoothly. Not a single thing design wise I would change. I was a little overwhelmed at first by this product, but after reading through the assembly instructions, I found the installation to be a lot easier than I envisioned. The faucet not only looks very modern and elegant, but the solid and heavy pieces mean that this is one durable and strong faucet that will stand up to frequent use. Let me start off with saying the install was easy. Didn’t take us long to install this faucet. The water lines are very long though, which thinking is unnecessary but it’s a simple connection. The black is hard to keep clean from water spots but very modern and goes perfectly with our modern remodeling. The handle moves easily up and down plus installing the drain was very simple. The water pressure and non splashing of water, makes a nice smooth stream. I do need to mention the quality. This is a nice sturdy and heavy faucet, you can tell that upon opening of the box and throughout use. I’ll definitely be buying a second one for our guest bath.
