I really like the pan, but it has a blemish and will need to be replaced via warranty. Demeyere warranty process is really terrible. Totally unacceptable for a luxury brand premium priced product.

This pan is BEAUTIFUL and cooks and cleans up so well. The best pan I’ve ever used. Really even heating throughout, just be sure to use an oven mitt or something when touching the handle when it’s hot!
Is a nice gift to give yourself when promoted!

I got this almost a year ago after finding a new job and during a sale. Before that purchase, I stumbled with Demeyer while I stayed at my friend's house where I got the opportunity to use it during my stay. I am known to burn fry pans and be hard on them, the same with the pots. I was worried that I scorched her pots but to my surprise it was not. In the past, I have owned a stainless steel pan and pot, they still work but in the case of the pan I have to use a lot of oil in order for the food to not stuck. This has not been the case with this pan. I have made friend eggs, pancakes , toasted bread, "saute" small portion of vegetables( this pan is not for that but for one person who her current saute pan is too big this works too) and placed it in the oven to make bake goods... I am impressed! Yes, there are heavy but there are sturdy. I am looking forward to add the saucier and the saute pan from the Atlantis Prolone in the future.

It is a good pan, but the main problem that bothers me a lot is that food sticks to it so much, making flipping an omelette an overly complicated procedure. On top of that, I have to scrub it with a sponge for at least 20 minutes to clean it. For what I paid I was expecting a bit more no-stick property.
Phenomenal lifetime pan

Lidenfrost effect starts at 240F and nothing sticks to the pan after this point. It is heavy enough to cook thick 3 inch stake no problem. It weighs 2.75 lb and the cooking surface is monstrous! Enough to feed a family of four. Easy to clean by just boiling some water. Absolutely thrilled with the product so far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently got an induction range and had to upgrade my set. After thorough research I decided to purchase Demeyere. Easily my favorite set. Durable, a bit heavy, will last the rest of my life! A must have in the kitchen for an at home chef! Love the helper handle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pan is very substantial and is excellent especially for searing steaks and such. I will use this for my steaks from now on instead of carbon steel or cast iron. Gave the ribeyes I cooked on it as its inaugural meal a wonderful uniform crust!

Phenomenal cookware -- we love the laser-welded joints with no bolts to capture dirt or crud -- cooking is a charm with 7-ply silver series -- we were so blessed to get the 12-piece Silver 7 set during a terrific sale -- the cookware will last forever & we expect to pass it on to our children!!

Really Really Nice Pan

I purchased my first 9” fry pan approximately one year ago. The pan was discounted and I had never heard of this brand of cookware. I picked the pan and quickly noticed the heaviness of the product; not a bad thing. I’m not a chef by any means b/c I can barely fry eggs. But this pan is inspiring (I’m crazy, right?). But I really like cooking on it. Yes it’s easy to clean. And if I happen to have cheese stuck to the surface I’ll let it soak in soapy water followed by a gentle polishing agent. I wish that I could afford more of Demeyere products.

Lived up to my expectations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pan has lived up to all my expectations for it. It heats evenly, retains heat well, and cleans up more easily than a typical stainless steel pan. I think the Silvinox treatment really does make a difference. Welded handles and sealed rims are a nice bonus. The only negative I would mention is that the finish has some small rough spots around the sides. A nitpick is that there are some design compromises for induction (as is the case with pretty much any high-end pan), but I do not use induction.
