Best Cookware; Worth the Investment

Atlantis is the best cookware made and is definitely worth the investment. The stock pot has a thick, 7 layer base made with copper and silver, two of the best heat conducting materials. They're welded to the bottom of the pan in a special way that eliminates a hot spot where food would stick. It conducts heat so well I can boil water in a few minutes, and that's just on a glass cooktop. The lid fits tightly so no moisture escapes. It conducts heat so well you can actually cook without water! And best of all, there are no rivets! Handles on the pan and lid are welded. This makes clean up a breeze and helps keep the handles from getting hot.

A stock pot is perfect for cooking big batches of pastas, sauces, and soups and an ample size for making broth. One of the best stainless steel pots out in the market, its 7-layer construction provides unparalleled frying, perfect browning, and guarantees exceptional heat distribution and retention for better cooking. It's to last a lifetime investment. This pot has comfortable handles that allow for easy maneuvering and roomy stay cool handle. I've had a variety of stainless steel pans, this is one of my favorite pots and pans. The flat bottom stays flat and will not warp. Safe to use with heavy metal kitchen tools, and extremely scratch-resistant. However, the keyword is “resistant” so, with enough force, anything can cause scratches. Therefore, wood and silicone kitchen tools are recommended. Compatible with gas, induction, ceran, halogen, and electric cooktops and oven safe up to 500F degree. Handwashing is recommended specially for a large pot like this one. A Bar Keeper's friend stainless steel cream cleanser is a really good must-have to keep your cookware in pristine condition and helps remove food residue. Washing and cleaning is a breeze.

Demeyere cookware is the best of the best. Each size and shape of the vessel is manufactured for optimal performance. Sauce pans and other straight sided pots are heavier on the bottom than the sides for maximum heat retention, flat bottoms for even cooking over the entire surface and rolled rims for dripless pouring. Fry pans and other conical pots have thicker bottoms and substantial sides to create maximum cooking throughout the pan. Stay cool handles, beautiful finish and no rivets only adds to the value of these pots making them an essential addition to your kitchen.

Seven- ply base with TriplInduct for extremely efficient cooking. Stock Pot provides quick heating and even heat retention. Large rivetless handles remain cool to the touch on stove top and combine with dripless rims for easy straining and pouring. Pot will stay silvery white thanks to the Silvinox treatment that also aids in clean up. Worth the investment.

Heavy, durable, quality stock pot. The thick 7 layered base conducts heat quickly and efficiently. The large loop handles on the sides and lid make it easy to grasp. The pasta insert (sold separately) goes well with the pot!

IMPRESSIVE Large capacity- This stock pot will hold up to 2.1 gallons of liquid. Perfect for making stock. This is the pan I use around the Holidays to ensure I have plenty of stock to make plenty of gravy! I also like to use this pot for cooking lobster. A pan for the serious home cooks. Demeyere pans are known worldwide for exceptional quality and performance. This pan lives up to that reputation. Solid, durable pan that will heat evenly and quickly.. Ample size for family gatherings and entertaining. Exceptional heating for searing and browning. Perfect for induction cook tops.

Cook your stocks, stews or soups in this incredible, tall stock pot. Seven layers (or ply) of stainless steel allow heat to evenly distribute across the pot to expertly cook food and improve cooking efficiency. It is the perfect weight and even so, the double handles make it convenient to move around the kitchen if needed.

This stock pot is fantastic. It heats up quickly and evenly - it has a 7 layer construction including an aluminum core layer. The handles are stay cool on the stove top and it can go into the oven up to 500F. I do like that it keeps it silvery finish over time due to the Silvenox treatment that Demeyere uses on all their pans. Look Mom - no rivets on the inside of pan making clean up magical.
Worth it! Enjoy this pot for a lifetime!

Demeyere made me rethink my cookware plan. I have spent my grown-up years upgrading to better cookware, which for me is (was) copper clad pans. But there are some challenges with copper, mostly maintenance. Enter Demeyere Atlantis. I love this stuff! It has all the best parts of copper cookware and it’s easy to clean! In addition to being technically sound (it cooks well; heats evenly and is responsive to temperature changes), it has bonuses that help to justify the price. No rivets - no cleaning around those annoying little screw heads. Comfortable stay-cool handles – easy to grip and lift. Looks good – shiny exterior stays that way. Just a note – it is heavy, like copper, but some things can’t be helped. There's copper in there, and copper is heavy.

Like all Demeyere pots and pans, and we own several, this pot is heavy and expensive. Cooks very well and easy to clean.
