derma-e Scalp Relief Conditioner - 10 fl oz

I no would give it 5 stars for the product itself, but like so many below reviews have mentioned, the bottle is terrible. I will not buy it again unless the packaging changes. I have the shampoo too. It works really well, but I also struggle with that bottle, but not as bad with the conditioner.

This product is lovely. My scalp is extremely sensitive and so far i have had barely any flakes or itching. My hair is shiny, has some bounce in its curls, and actually looks moisturized. Its always a struggle to find something that works for me! Ya sure the bottle is hard to manipulate, so elderly people and someone with an injury would definitely have a hard time.. I have no problem squeezing it out of the bottle but i dont bother with the tiny cap. My trick is I have to remove the cap every time first, squeeze product out and then close it up.

I like this product. It works well on your scalp, and you can actually notice a tingly feeling when you leave it on for a few minutes. It smells minty. My only complaint is the packaging - you have to be he-man to squeeze something out of it.

I love this conditioner but the fact that it's impossible to get out of the bottle is frustrating. It's difficult to squeeze and get trapped inside of the lid rather than coming out for use.

This is the only shampoo that works for me and my very dry skin in the winter. It soothes discomfort and dry patches and itchiness.

I don't know why they keep doing this. This is a great product but the bottle is like steel. You can't squeeze it at all. The problem has been going on for years and they still don't do anything about it.

The conditioner does help my scalp, but the bottle is so hard to squeeze out the condition. Seems every customer is complaining about the bottle, can Derma E hear that?

While the bottle is a harder than usual plastic, I think the issue is that the opening in the bottle cap is too small to accommodate the thick consistency of the conditioner. I turned the bottle upside down until the conditioner was all the way to the cap, unscrewed the cap and was then fairly easily able to squeeze out a usable amount in one try. I see that the opening in the cap is the same size as on the shampoo bottle and as the shampoo is a much thinner liquid it works fine but not for the conditioner. While a pump on the conditioner bottle would be great, perhaps an easier fix is to use a cap with a larger opening.

U cant squeeze it out and have to bang the bottle like ketchup until it explodes all over. So difficult to get out of the bottle i threw it out.

This product definitely helps with scalp irritation. However, I wish the product was packaged that was easier to manipulate. The bottle is a hard unsqueezable bottle which makes it difficult to access product if you have arthritis in your hands. Maybe a pump?

I absolutely love Derma E Scalp Relief Conditioner. I have to be careful what I put on my scalp and this works for me. As a bonus it leaves my hair tanglefree. I do have a BIG PROBLEM with the container it comes in. The plastic is impossibly hard to squeeze unless you are a heavyweight champ. I have to wash my hair in the kitchen sink and remove the cap so I can lean on the bottle with my forearm to get the conditioner out. Please someone fix this problem. If this didn't work SO well on my hair, and I didn't have such a picky scalp, I would choose another product to avoid the hassle.

I love love love this conditioner. It was a game changer for the winter when my scalp was dry, irritated, and inflamed. It is getting four stars instead of five because the bottle is so hard to squeeze! I have to squeeze it with two hands into my thigh in order to use it. I am able bodied and can't imagine how much trouble else would have with it.

I really like your shampoo and conditioner but I will say the packaging is not user friendly. I can not get the conditioner out.

This bottle is so hard to squeeze. I hurt my shoulder (I'm only 29!!) trying to get the product to come out by shaking it. It was still impossible to squeeze. Please make a better bottle!!!

This product is completely impossible to use in the container that it comes in. Literally! The cylinder bottle is sturdy and impossible to squeeze. There is no chance the product can come through the small opening in the top. You will have to conduct some sort of science experiment to transfer the product to a new container if you have one on hand. I'd really love to use this product but I can't and have to return.

It's a shame that apparently nobody at the company tested this conditioner in the shower before deciding to put it in a tall, narrow bottle with a narrow opening. The product is THICK. It's a cream, and should be in a jar. I first discovered problem after washing my hair and couldn't get any product out. The plastic is so hard you can't even squeeze it, and I have pretty strong hands. So I spent approx. 25 minutes this evening trying to transport the cream into a usable tub container. What I had to do was slowly add a little water and try to stir and scoop out small amounts with the handle of an ice tea spoon, which was a lengthy process because the opening kept getting clogged. Ridiculous! See attached photos. The portion I spooned out in second photo is AFTER adding water, so it was actually thicker in the bottle. I used it on my scalp and I think it works well. Therefore giving two stars. However, I won't purchase again due to the issues getting it out of the bottle. It seems like a good conditioner otherwise, but sadly I can't recommend due to the inconvenience factor.

I have been using the Scalp Relief Shampoo and Conditioner for a while now and this line is the only one that has worked to detangle my hair and to leave it shiny and itch free! It's a wonderful! What prompted me to leave a review was the frustration with the bottle and it's great to see that others have voiced this! I no longer use the bottle caps because it's impossible to get the product out, particularly the conditioner! I have healthy hands and can't press them enough. Please redesign!

The product is amazing, been using it for years the bottle is ridiculous! For the love of all things holy, please fix the bottle. Not sure why this plastic was chosen, is it because it helps maintain the purity?!? But as other reviews have said FIX. THE. BOTTLE.

I have psoriatic arthritis. The psoriasis part is on my scalp. This shampoo and conditioner have helped me so much! I think they have helped me more than the prescription kind. The only bad part is the bottles. They are so hard to squeeze! Especially with psoriatic arthritis. Please consider resigning them. Thank you!!
