My wife bought this statue and it has fallen over twice and I am about to glue it back together for the second time. I have added some concrete to the bottom since it’s busted in half. Perhaps when it’s been repaired again, I will make a mold of it and cast a much sturdier copy.

I purchased my first set 12 years ago for my son's grave site. He had picked them out before his passing. After 12 years they needed replacing and this purchase was the replacement. They are beautiful and very resistant to the weather.

I am very pleased with my French Pleurant statue. I only wish it were a little heavier but so far no problems with it falling over. I really like the design. I am always happy with the quality of items from Design Toscano.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the French Pleurant to stand next to the St. Francis statue in front of the tree my brother planted in my yard as a surprise, after telling him how much I loved his Paw Paw tree. He was a great lover of all thing Mother Nature and purchased many items from Toscano because he always said they had the most true detail. When these statues arrived and I opened the boxes I was overwhelmed with how beautiful they are. I would tell anyone if your looking for fine detail and workmanship go to Toscano Designs

French tolerant statue it is beautiful. I put him next to my son's remains and its very comforting to have them together. I love them together.

I've had this for many years and still love it. The weeper has been a great conversation piece with explaining the history of the weeper and that it is NOT a ghost!

It is handpainted, so expect some small flaws/variations. Overall this is beautiful. I bought it to look over my dead husband, so there is always someone or something looking over him. I love it. I bought the larger size and am happy with my choice.

I love the look of this statue! I get so many comments on how cool/creepy he is! Perfect for my medieval themed garden! What surprised me was the material. I thought it would be a heavier material like the angel statues I bought. It feels like plastic, very light and not a heavier resin. As for maintenance not sure yet, just got him last month. For what he's made of, could be cheaper.

I loved this statue when it arrived. It displays well. It ways its a spiritual piece but can also be a good creepy gothic art also.
