I gifted Silas to my daughter and she absolutely loved him. He's the perfect size to just sit on her windowsill and keep an eye on the neighborhood.

I bought this as a Christmas present for a loved one as they had owned another gargoyle that was stolen. I should have payed more attention to this statue's dimensions as I didn't expect it to be so small when its size is described as "medium". The next size up, "large", costs much more and weighs 40 pounds or so. I Wish DT would release a Silas gargoyle with a size in between this one and the large one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have white 4 x 4 posts scattered in my yard. They have various things on top such as birdhouses and cages. This year, I decided to do Silas, the guardian of the yard, and it turned out perfect because of his size.

I've tucked Silas on a small ledge of my arbor at the entrance to my new rose garden….he's looking over everyone who comes in, protecting my garden. My Silas is small, only about 9 inches high, but I'm sure he carries a lot of magic with him!

I loved him the first time I saw him in the catalog. I received the large Silas for a Christmas gift, and was thrilled. My husband liked him so much that I purchased the smaller size for him and he keeps it on his desk at work.

silas is one of my favorite gargoyles in my collection. the air of " i don't care" in his demeanor is priceless. he came to me unharmed and has been a focal point in my living room since his arrival. my grand children love him.
